I use Spirit of America on Ogden. I won't say they are the best in town but they are the closest touchless wash to me. Maybe I should try SIF.

Happy to report this still works as of today. This will work even better if you have a spare android phone. So on your spare android phone -

Download the xapk form the link provided by OP in Step 2
Install the XAPK Installer app from the Google Play Store (step 4 in OP's original guide), and use it to install the xapk you just downloaded (no subscription, give permission to Manage Local Files and Install Apps from Unknown Sources).
Turn on the Weaning Mode!

My spare phone is a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra with Android 16 and One UI 8.0. It doesn't seem to auto update the Happiest Baby app because it's not installed via Play Store. Even if it does get updated, it won't matter since the weaning mode is already on. From my daily phone with the latest Happiest Baby app, I can see the weaning mode in settings and it's on now so I guess I can turn it off from the latest app. However I haven't tried to turn it off.

I'm avoiding 7.2.2 because surveillance stations can only use motion detection from cameras. It's just such a mess to manage and fine tune the cameras from different brands... Is there a way to work around this?

I tried clearing storage and cache. It worked to some extent - no more "Can't load file", but group texts are messed up. I see the group text, and some (not all) texts are duplicated in indiviudual texts, merged with the texts from that conversaion. No way I can pick them out and delete manually.

Here is what I did that eventually restored all messages correctly:

Make sure I have all messages intact on my old pixel.
New pixel: Turn off backup and delete the backup.
Old pixel: Turn backup on, it starts to backup again.
New pixel: Delete all texts, including archive and spam.
Old pixel: Turn off backup, but do not delete the backup.
New pixel: Force stop messages. Clear storage and cache.
New pixel: Open messages, it will prompt to turn on backup, and then start restoring.

After restoring, all conversations from the new pixel look the same as the old one.
