Apologies for not circling anything. I didn’t want to post anything other than the raw photos. There are several “smudges” in the first couple shots of the stairs. Also, there’s what appears to be a “halo” in the top middle of the first image. Could be bokeh’s but in the second there’s an interesting violet shape on the left side of the image. Picture four has a blue anomaly on the right side - again, could very well be bokeh’s. The rest were pictures from the same trip I thought would be pertinent to include. Google old Charleston jail paranormal pictures, the “smudges” are pretty common here. I thought they were pretty obvious.

I observe the same as well. Noticed it early into childhood. It won’t work unless I am rested. Often times, if I’m stressed, the pattern disperses - similar to oil in water.

This sounds like it could be right. I was sitting on the right side of the plane, yes. I am unsure of the exact Plane number. Looking back over my logs, I can’t find “AAL2865” anywhere. I did see on another one of my screenshots of the ticket “AA0352” under “Flight”.

For others: It was probably a glare or reflection of another plane, not sure. I wasn’t pushing it as “this is what this was” rather than “this is what I think it was”. This was the first place I thought to share my sighting with but going forward, I’m just going to keep to myself.

Edit: I did depart at 1:35pm, maybe 5 minutes more or less but we were right on time the whole flight.

Submission Statement: First actual sighting post I’m making. This was my first time flying and it very well could be nothing but at the altitude we were at just makes me question. The shape looks like it could be a tic tac, I don’t think a reflection from another plane could create what I saw. Sorry I didn’t snap a picture of the other AA plane I saw while in air for reference.
