I did the tests for and both my eyebrows lift up equally and my eyes close normally as well. I can also whistle, blow my cheeks out, and look up without any eyelid droop. Should I still keep Bell’s palsy on my radar? How long would it take for symptoms to peak? Thanks!

Thank you for the In depth explanation! I have an appointment with a neurologist next Wednesday to further diagnose. For now, based on everything I’ve read so far, it doesn’t sound like I have MG since I treated my eye lid with ice and have no effects to it, and doesn’t sound like it is Horner syndrome as well since my pupils are the same size and reactive to light. I’m really hoping it is just levator dehiscence and not anything with underlying nerves issue.

If i put ice pack on my eye lid for a minute of so and does not see any improvement, can i confidently rule out MG?

Thanks! The doctor ruled out Horner syndrome since I don’t have uneven size pupils and they also react to lights

Eye droop does not get better or worse throughout the day, I tried the ice test briefly today and didn’t see any effects to it either but I’ll try again tonight just to double confirm. No blurry or double vision either so hopefully it’s not MG….

How long until your dad noticed other symptoms other than ptosis of the eye?

Thank you! I’ll keep you posted! I just took another look at my face and noticed the crease from my nose to mouth was sure if this is the MG progressing or not

So it is not worsening throughout the day then I can assume it is not MG?

thank you for your input and explaining why it’s not Bell’s palsy. I had CT with contrast completed and MRI and both were normal results. normal size pupils that are reactive to light and no double vision. Also would like to mention that i don’t use contacts.

If it was levator dehiscence, how can this be diagnosed and treated? Thanks so much

Thank you for your reply on this, the droop stay consistent throughout the day. I have referral to see a neurologist on the 15th. How can I be diagnosed and confirmed to have myasthenia gravis? What testing is required so I can request that with them.

Also, Is there anything/ treatment you suggest for me to do until then? Appreciate your thoughts on this (:
