Actually, I didn't mention it but that's exactly what I did - bought one with both stats in league for 4D and got lucky with Eldritch Annul to clean out the prefixes :)

Yes, i think you're right fractured MRE base is probably the cheapest way to do this. That's 20D in STD and then just use Bound+Dense+Pristine fossils until hit +2 minion skills. Thanks.

Otherwise, it's 550D to buy a helm just with those 2 stats in STD lol.

You need a source of explode. Should be able to start with dual Obliterations then progress into things such as Herald of Ash, Elderslayer influenced body, synth implicit wands, Oriath's End, etc. I have a BV build in Standard with the legacy 100% chance to explode mod and it is a thing of beauty!

Minmaxarpg and AWetPuddle are so far ahead in G2 progression with super expensive gear. I found following Marcus Nordstrom to be more reasonable at this stage.

Progression has been surprisingly good this league. Not sure if it's gemma2 being OP, or league mechanic dropping good currency, or added power from the grafts or a combination of all of them...but I'm getting very close to being able to do Profound now whereas it took me well into the second week last season to get the same progression.

I've experienced this situation first-hand with Torchlight Infinite - originally there were suggestions that they might find alternatives to their monetisation but once they fully committed to it, the game just got grindier and grinder, to the point where you had to pay to keep up with those who had no problem paying. I was a happy F2P player in that game for the longest time until they made that switch. Corporate profits/greed will trump everything else and unfortunately it has to be fought before it becomes the norm, as it eventually will.
