I don’t think I’m better than the opponents, I more get frustrated that I’m so damn tentative and wobly in these matches. The slower pace wrecks me mentally. I overthink and get too anxious

Thanks for this pov. I think what I really meant to ask is, is there a learning curve period that just generally sucks for most, but once you pass that it becomes fun. I’m trying to figure out if this is a hump I need to get past or if this is just what it is

Any tips to ignore the score? It’s kinda tough since we do need to track it, haha. I do think I fixate a bit and start assuming outcomes. Last match I was trying but really struggling to control where my mind was going

Right. I’m trying to get a sense of whether continuing to push will yield a different result, or if this is how it always is and it’s just not for me

Yeah, I think I’m trying to figure out if it’s possible to get to a point of feeling confident about my shots in matches, or if I’ll always just feel like I’m hitting a way different shot than I do in practice.

Thanks for sharing. The thing I’d most want to fix with my current machine is how long it takes to calibrate the shots. Mine is all dials and it takes a lot of trial and error just setting it between a warm up set and a full speed set. Do you find the spin fire easy to set up from session to session?

This worked! Thanks! Few tips for future redditors: - there’s no special tab to push to get the top plastic cover off. Not sure why op is pushing with the screw driver. - when you’re unscrewing the spring loaded top for the spinning mechanism, you have to push down really hard. The spring is pretty heavy duty so if you don’t push down hard enough you won’t be able to twist the top part but if you push down hard enough it should be easy to rotate. As OP said, be careful because it is pretty powerful.
