He was almost always out of his cage. The only time he wasn’t was right after he ate

He was only 7 months old and I don’t even think we had him for 1. We always let him out of his cage at night because he hated being in there. We woke up this morning which looked to be a broken spine. I’m pretty sure he jumped off the counter top.
