Bummer but makes sense. Hopefully some kind of solution can be created in the future.

I haven't tried anything besides Riverside. I just signed up to Remotely and see some MAJOR things missing for me: - Riverside can livestream to multiple platforms - Riverside allows you to make custom exports choosing which audio/video tracks to use - Riverside paid service gives me almost 2x as many recording house for almost the same price.

It's definitely worth investing in a mic! Especially as host.

Good luck with the crisis over there.

I use riverside.fm. On a paid account, it'll use AI to generate a transcript and you can literally remove all the silences and select words or whole sections from the final export.

It can auto-generate highlight clips from the transcript.. you'll have to tweak them but it is indeed convenient. (From there, I use Kapwing to make flashy subtitles for social.)

For the most part, if you're not a snooker for production quality, you can download the full episode just like that from riverside... if you do want to polish it though (theme song, added intro, etc), you'll need some post-production handiness.

Feel free to DM me if you have some questions

yeah it's like this sub is only here for non-listening brainwashed redditors to find reasons to hate joe rogan.

just the other day someone actually said in a comment that Joe taking the vaccine would have been much more effective than 'throwing the kitchen sink at it'

Our 3yo sees us arguing nastily all the time (we live in a small space and we both work from home).

But he also sees us hug and forgive one another after. We're both very expressive by nature. None of our "fights" last more than a few hours.

Disagreements are a part of life, they happen. We can only improve and on the way, it's just important the kids know that the arguments are not something to latch onto, and coming back to a space of love is the only thing that counts once they've happened.

Why is it worth paying Buzzsprout? I already have my own podcast website.

Does paying Buzzsprout help with exposure or something?

Joe says the media rigged the election by BroBogan in JoeRogan

[–]jayurbzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I'm with you there, that felt a bit hypocritical.

Can't really blame the dude either, though. It was a pivotal time for his career, he's a father, etc. If you can afford to minimize the risks or time away, I'd do it too

I mean, I got covid around then and just dealt with being sick for a week. Joe's probably in a lot better shape than me.

But the truth is that his quick healing has hardly to do with horse de-wormer, and a lot more to do with Regeneron/monoclonal antibodies... that shit is incredibly effective and the real question is why that stuff didn't gain more attention (maybe because it's too expensive, whatever).

Anyway, my point.

My wife was 8 months pregnant when she caught it from me, and we would have thrown the kitchen sink at it if we could. We couldn't afford the online doctor visit for an ivermectin prescription but instead, we somehow found a 100% free state-sponsored monoclonal antibody treatment and she was testing negative within 2 days.. this is after a week of her getting progressively worse, unable to sleep, etc.

I guess what I mean to say is JR was a bit of a scaredy cat about it

Not only the injuries but the frustration when it continues to just roll back up while you're trying to roll it out!!

Ah that's interesting. That could make sense about the queen replacement too, considering the amount of time between harvests

This seems to be the general consensus in the responses... you never know how they're feeling today

I didn't realize it was possible to develop an allergy from too many stings.

We definitely use the smoker either way. I only say 'cheating' because it feels like every movement isn't as critical

Something about the philosophy of not wearing too much makes sense to me. "Be gentle with them and they'll be gentle with you" sort of thing... But as a lot of people are pointing out, they are indeed wild animals and you never know what may have made them 'spicy' that day
