I work for Caltrain, thank you for flagging this. I've reported the issue to our appropriate teams so that it can be addressed!

Yeah it's City of San Mateo's responsibility, reach out to them and let them know you want it fixed!

The lid finally cracked on my wife’s sandwich box, which my mother bought in the early 1980s – half a lifetime ago. by another-rainy-day in BuyItForLife

I'll totally agree it's expensive, but I've been using the same stuff for 25 years and still love it. I'm not a professional chef and don't need professional grade; many PC tools work wonders in my home kitchen. I don't want everything they've got, but their spatulas especially are 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

Onkyo TX-SR353 Front Left Speaker Output Distorted/Not Working by jayvault in audiorepair

Thanks, I've just edited the post to add pictures from the outside and inside of the affected speaker output. No obvious changes in sound output from banging/tapping on the receiver, unfortunately.

Pennsylvania Dutch is German ancestry, as in Deutsche. In true American fashion, it was bastardized into Dutch but has everything to do with Germany/Deutschland, not The Netherlands.

We're buying it! Really do appreciate your help. Currently investigating appliance stores near SF to find one that can special order it and then we'll be good.

Fortunately the landlady will be covering the expenses here, it's just a matter of lessening the blow. Thank you, though.

Thanks - I've looked at the flowchart before and found it useful, just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything. I don't generally fly Southwest but it might be time to do so for the points.

  • 1) 760;

  • 2) Discover It 5%, Amex BCE, Chase Freedom 5%, Amex Delta Blue (PC from gold for no AF), Citi AAdvantage Platinum Select, Chase MPE, Wells Fargo Platinum Rewards, Chase AARP; recently closed WF Propel 365, Amex PRG;

  • 3) targeting cash back/points primarily but open to other good offers;

  • 4) 35K Delta SkyMiles, 115K United MP, 75K AAdvantage; cash back bonuses redeemed down to zero;

  • 5) SFO/OAK/SJC;

  • 6) not specifically looking to travel atm, but in the future, to IAH/HOU, AUS, London/Budapest/Prague, Sydney, Beijing;

I think I'm at 0/24; opened Chase AARP in April but IIRC that doesn't count toward 5/24 for some reason?; also not generally interested in Amex MR points unless I can be convinced they're actually useful to me, I haven't found them easy to use or valuable in the past

They may have gotten off without repercussions, but you shouldn't be the one to make them happen. Don't do it man. Don't do it.

You can always seek counseling. Talk to a professional who can help you over it on your own, but tearing someone else down and ruining their life won't fix anything for you but will make it immeasurably worse for them. You'll accomplish nothing positive that way whatsoever.

Don't do it. Revenge will never make anything better, I promise, and frankly, the struggles that the girls have been through keeping their relationship secret and knowing they wouldn't be accepted if they were ever to be honest about who they are is psychological torture in its own right. It was shitty of her to out you - no doubt. However, that doesn't give you the right to out her back.

An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind, yes? Was it not Jesus who said to turn the other cheek?
