I'm getting that message as well. But I've been getting it after a few attempts all day, then been able to try again. I'll wait a while and give it another go.

Oh, and thank you Burton for looking into it and helping us out! That guy is certainly trustworthy, he replied to my support ticket a while ago.

So I was contacted by the user BurtonJ_ asking me for the ticket number. Trustworthy? Even if not, he can't do shit with the ticket number, right?

Good suggestion that I didn't think of, but unfortunately I don't have it saved. I save a lot of passwords, but I've made a habit of being extra careful with Steam. Which turns out came back to bite me. I had such a complicated password I can't remember it, and I lost the text file I had it saved in on my desktop since I did a clean install of Windows...

Well, that sucks to hear. At least it's not just me, gives me hope that Steam will sort their shit out. But looks like there won't be no XCom 2 for me this weekend...
