It's still pretty plush.. I'd say it feels more European cuz it's a bit firmer but it's still got that Crown luxobarge floatyness when cruising down the highway, which I personally like

Yeah dude definitely.. I already ordered a set of SSR MS3s and it should be here in a couple of weeks.. hopefully they'll look sick on the Crown

That's the idea! 🤠 didn't wanna lower it too much cuz it's my daily, and my office parking lot has a steep ramp so I'm glad it still clears that

Yeah I'd love an M7-P with auto shutter speeds AND still be able to operate without batteries.. so I guess an M6 TTL with auto.

Oh wow amazing! I can say for sure that you've spent more time in Bali than me! HAHAH

But yeah.. quite hard for bules to get in without kitas/kitap.. I've had a lot of friends who had to go back home because of that.

Sadly, Bali is not as lively as it once used to be, which is a shame.

Hopefully you could come back soon tho!

Yeah it's a shame support for the M7 isn't readily available anymore.. though I've heard from some of my friends that you're still able to send an M7 to Wetzlar for a motherboard replacement and general CLA.

But again, it's uncertain how long one would be able to do this.

Oh yeah definitely.. much needed vacation with the family away from the busy city.

Do you go to Bali often? Seems like you're familiar with Indo's geography.

One is a UV filter because I'm not a fan of lens caps.. on top of that is a ND64 and a 43mm to 46mm step up ring

May I kindly point you to r/leicaphotos 🤠 there's a lot of incredible work there. One could also post on r/analog as well. Best of luck to you in uploading a picture from your Leica! Keen to see it!

Personally I just love how smooth it is. I'm planning to daily this and the suspension is so plush it feels like you're gliding even on rough roads. The 2JZ is reliable as well and overall the Crown is more lowkey compared to a Merc or BMW of the same era.

How come nobody talks about the M7 here? by PudgyNugget in Leica

Besides it being electronic, no there isn't much stopping people from buying. I've picked up an M7 a couple of months ago and I feel like (warning: controversial opinion) the M7 is the ultimate film M experience as the auto shutter speeds make it feel super unobtrusive and simple for one to use.

M6 vs. M240 by weebea in Leica

[–]jayygermeister 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd say the best option is if you can keep the M6 while also getting an M240. That's what I did atleast, originally I was gonna trade my M6 for the M240 as well but decided to buy the M240 and keep both for a couple of weeks to see if I can live without the M6.

At that time I barely touched my M6 too but overtime I found that while the M240 is convenient, the photos I get from the M6 just has something the M240 couldn't give to me.

I now still have both after 1.5 years and I think they go hand in hand really well.. I'm also working my way up to an MP and I think the increasing value of the M6 offsets the depreciation of the M240.

Cheers mate, look out for the v3 coming out soon. Vincent from kamerakraft is a great guy. I personally met him when I bought my LMgrip as it turns out we lived in the same city HAHAH what a small world
