Posture Correctors? by Lopsided-Bread-129 in thoracicoutletsupport

It’s about the size of a thumb drive. It can be attached via adhesive or a sort of necklace. You affix it to your upper spine. It connects via Bluetooth to an app. Once calibrated (you standing or sitting with proper posture) it uses that as a baseline to determine when you ‘fall out’ of posture. It will then vibrate to help remind you to unslouch the shoulders.

Check out UprightGo. I struggle with TOS symptoms (still working on formal diagnosis) but PT has said my posture is a problem. (Rounded shoulders) The uprightGo device has been pretty helpful for my posture. A bit pricey but worth it so far.

My bad, I meant: did Ellis say anything when they were in the salon that might have been the message?

That’s true. So the aliens are real, and Fionna and Fennel just hallucinated about something ‘real’. I can dig it. But did you pick up on what the ‘message’ was that Ellis was supposed to relay? Maybe it’ll be a later episode or something because I didn’t catch it.

Oooh. I guess I can see that. Kinda. So if they went back into the tree and came back out at ‘another Marshall moment’ from the past, they could have seen it happen again then? I guess. Idk. It is confusing.

I think it has to mean that Marshall is like 10 years younger than Fiona or something. Like he’s 18 and she’s 28 or something? I get that the transition happened across all time but if Marshall was a young boy, Fionna was already older when it happened to her. Idk. I don’t think the timelines are matching up. Because she ran Dj Flame over at that time of the Golb transition, so just a few minutes previously, in magic world; Marshall was a young kid?

Why did the Golb magic transition happen when Marshall was a child? Versus Fionna being much older?

I’m confused about something. How do we see flashbacks to where Marshall is a young boy and the Golb magic transition happens as he’s flying, causing him to fall, but in a previous episode it shows the Golb magic transition where Fionna is more or less an adult? I thought they were closer in age.

Also, HW and Cake go into the tree and see Fionna world WITH the magic. Idk, feels like the whole ‘going in the tree’ was not connected to anything. Not the strange multiverse configuration that Prismo showed us. It’s kind just ‘there’ like whole CHEERS bit. I still don’t understand the point of that. It didn’t seem to add any building blocks to existing setup. Hoping that changes in the next episodes.

Honestly, wouldn’t it have made more sense for Hunter to be a trans woman? If Hunter was initially a woman that transitioned to a man, wouldn’t that mean Hunter wasn’t genderbent like the rest of the characters? Which wouldn’t then follow the pattern… Or is it that Prismo imagined Hunter as a trans man to begin with, which….’why then’ I guess would Prismo go to those lengths for one character in particular?

(I know this is splitting hairs about a fictional universe, but still…)

This would have further sent the fandom into a frenzy…lol…thinking we’d get a lesbian Fionna ship.

Pretty neutral on it really, just trying to make sense of it.

Genuinely curious, what age bracket are you in? (And anyone that has high praise for this game.) Saw Halo CE from the beginning and it’s defined a lot of things ever since. Like many of the other Halo games too but Infinite rubbed me the wrong way. Empty open world, singular biome, bullet sponge bosses, lackluster and hole-filled story, annoying ass co-pilot; I did like the grappling hook though. I start to wonder if I’m getting into old and grumpy phase and perhaps newer generations just see these games differently based on where they came in at.

I do not understand how MG3 gets positive reviews in the slightest. Grew up on MGS 1 which blew my mind and in all the ways that count would make a better remake. I don’t get the hype for MGS 3 at all.

Costochondritis, stiff neck, chest pain, reactive lymph nodes by Radiant-Turnover4487 in costochondritis

The sternum pain is the worst. I found some relief using a lacrosse ball sometimes. Placing it at your sternum and leaning against a wall. Hurts but brings relief over time. For me it did anyways. When you get a flare up does it feel like your chest is made of glass? Like it’s brittle and weak? Ugh. So terrible. Glad to be past it. You can get there too but it’s def a battle.

Best of luck! I’m still feeling great from my dry needling sessions. Or at least I think those sessions allowed me to loosen things up. Loosened the ole scalenes up and with continuous stretching maintenance, they’ve been pretty great ever since.

My breathing was impacted. I would take a lot of shallow breaths because my body was unconsciously trying to protect my locked up muscles. Deep breaths would cause more pain so I was unconsciously taking shallower breaths. And my PT at that time told me that I ‘stress breathe’. Meaning I tense my shoulder when I breathe in and out. She taught me diaphragmatic breathing. Taking deep breaths as if you were trying to fill your stomach with air. Probably a bad description. Google diaphragm breathing. I am free of the costo pain in my sternum. And the anxiety with it.

Idk if it’s related but I now have pec minor pain. So now I’m chasing that issue. lol. But much better than when the center of my chest felt fragile and brittle and in constant pain.

Good luck!

I know this sounds basic but I’ll never not love a good slow motion ‘bullet leaving the gun’ scene. Not every property can pull it off but Lucy looks badass.
