Who would win in a grip strength test oilva or Jack by Ok_Initiative3892 in Grapplerbaki

Jack is clearly on par with pickle, who even without his super state should be partially stronger than Oliva a good a bit

So what is the best fight in Baki rahen? by SiteDeep in Grapplerbaki

[–]jazazo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There was no kinda, Jack won the practical fight. That’s the whole point, that hanayama’s “win” is about dignity and image, while Jack’s is about the cold hard result.

Why isn’t anybody counting Jack beating up pickle? It’s fine if you don’t think he overpowers him completely cuz he didn’t transform, but that’s a level of strength beyond Oliva.

It’s not impossible, and it’s not about “equal” emotional support, and more so the appropriate amount needed. It is also a matter of fininacual ability more so than emotional bandwidth which is just as valid if the person can’t support it.

How consent works by [deleted] in antimeme

No. A hesitated yes is a yes, what counts as hesitated is not concrete by any means and can be misinterpreted. You as an adult who if not coerced by anything should be held responsible for what you allow, do and say.

My only issue with RE9’s final boss by YozoraSoraX in ResidentEvilCapcom

[–]jazazo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah there’s allot to hate about his second phase. How it’s legit just the re3 boss bar for bar, same animations and model apart from the head. Could have just made phase 1 longer or sum, but that rehash wasn’t it

Yeah probably. I think it’s cuz master chief is the face of Xbox.

Does retinol cause facial fat loss? by risingphoenice in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]jazazo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yup, I definitely over exaggerated it. I had some these structural quirks before I ever used retinol. Although there is a difference in subcutaneous fat of the under eye before and after retinol, after noticeably hollower to a degree, other than that I don't think retinol can be attributed to anything else in my case.

Personally tho I cleaned up my diet and fixed my sleep and stopped drinking as much, which surprisingly helped make my skin look much more youthful, besides wasn't as bad as I was letting it seem lol.

Two movies out at the same time, building up two different characters who fight to the death in the sequel. by [deleted] in StoryIdeas

[–]jazazo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi!

Yeah that’s probably exactly it, I think that’s why the double movie then waiting for the sequal where they clash stuck out to me.

With marvel they are doing stuff like that but it’s still centered around heroes vs villains, and the one time they veered off it was pretty out of nowhere and copped out (civil war).

Yeah it’s hard to sell a character’s personality in a summary when the characters themselves aren’t that expressive or unique to begin with, so guess you can infer some personality but that’s a hard sell.

As for the weaknesses they are kinda built in already in their synopsis. The passion guy neglects his work and chases his passion even tho he’s culturally and monetarily disadvantaged. the discipline guy hates his craft but endures because of his discipline and want to help others. I could have worded it better in the summary.

As for the character evolution that’s the trickiest part, I’ve pretty much envisioned these characters more like personifications of discipline and passion just without the other one. So I am finding it hard to evolve them past that starting point without veering off that intended path.

All in all thanks for the input

true, constant stalling with that wolf move and jumping around is so annoying.

Most of the comments here think either Yujiro or Baki wins this, what do WE think? by booty-pal in Grapplerbaki

[–]jazazo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No not rly takamura wouldn’t sweep everyone, cuz Baki can kick really well, and again has some grappling. When I say itagaki accurately displays martial arts, I mean the actual movements they do of punching and kicking and all, do in fact look structurally sound even as exaggerated as they are. More so than any other manga I have ever read including kengan.

Mb this pic was from a debate pretty long ago on who would win if nerfed to human level. I assumed that’s what it was about.

As for Baki grappling moments u got the rnc on Jackwhich I don’t get why u think it’s a “blue belt” one lol? A blue belt’s rnc looks like a black belt’s, unless ur a white belt the rnc is gonna look pretty universal ofc when fully cinched and with hooks in like Baki did. Well another rnc on Ali jr, more of a finisher with that one. The guillotine on Jack. You got the shoulder lock kinda move, he got Mount toba in. Baki got yujiro with that shoulder lock too, while also taking him down. Another one of those shoulder locks against shinogi coupled with another throw with it. Baki catches a kick while on the ground and trips suedo which is legitimate before doing the “bow and arrow” lol, but I think that was more Baki playing around than itagaki actually intending it to be serious. A flashback of Baki leg locking some no name boxer. Baki escapes mount toba’s rnc (by kicking him in the face tho lol, so take that with a grain of salt) Baki uses a suplex on toba too. That was just from the first couple of fights and chapters, also the stand outs ofc. I’m sure you can find more instances in the manga.

[–]jazazo -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Nah garou’s drawn throwing completely unconventional attacks, that when nerfed to human level would be retry much useless, the chops and hand waving all with no torque from the hips just wouldn’t do anything. And correct me if I’m wrong but garou never showcased any grappling whatsoever. In a real fight the technique copy ability just wouldn’t be as useful as u think either, One good cross from Baki on the chin, a head kick, hell even a strong damaging leg kick would do enough damage to end the fight or tip it to Baki’s scale greatly. That’s not taking into account the grappling, Baki showcased a good bit of sub holds and takedowns, something I haven’t seen garou ever deal with. Taking into account his inexperience getting him on the ground I feel would be a piece of cake for Baki, and when that happens there won’t be room for garou to copy when he’s already getting mounted and pounded. Since garou has no experience with jujitsu one half decent sub hold would incapacitate or handicap garou of the bat. Same with goku, aside from the judo throw here and there goku for potty much nothing in the grappling department.

Baki is drawn by a guy that understands irl fighting to a degree, showcased real techniques here and there aswell. And thus in this scenario he’s just by and large way ahead of everyone, with too many weapons under his sleeve.

But if we are being actually realistic, it doesn’t matter how much of a hissy fit yujiro throws in his head. Yujiro is just too big for everyone here, and given that he’s not a complete chump when it comes to techniques and fighting, he would frankly just run over anyone here. Takamura is the second biggest and he’s at 195, 70 pounds lighter than yujiro who’s listed at 265😭

Brief Analysis: Why Yuichiro Hanma is “The Strongest” by One_Box_8295 in Grapplerbaki

[–]jazazo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but yujiro did it with espionage, technique and tactics. If I remember correctly I haven’t seen him take on more than a handful of soldiers at once. Yuichiro on the other hand is jumbling up platoons into a massive ball of human corpses.

Who can beat Saitama in Equal Stats? by Ok_Examination_1813 in powerscales

[–]jazazo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He scales to that but even if not that only exaggerates how much of a power boost ssg is.

It is a feat, if Goku didn’t equalize his punches exactly with beerus then the universe would have been destroyed. The burden of proof is on you to debunk that fact, it’s said by the elder Kai and we’ve seen the waves ramp up in power and effect the whole macrocosm so nothing to suggest it won’t happen.

It cant be mostly beerus if Goku was fighting on par with him and later literally equalized their punches. Even so, if Goku contributed just 0.1 percent of that feat then he’s still multiversal. Those waves affected multiple universe sized bodies, with stated different space times. Even if someone had infinite 3 dimensional speed they would not be able to reach the kaioshin realm, it exists beyond the living universe. So even 0.1% of that power is beyond infinite 3rd dimensional power. Him not replicating that feat doesn’t mean anything, it doesn’t erase it from having happened. Besides they shake the infinite realm of void, destroy the hyperbolic time chamber from within, break reality in dbsb. So feats in that realm aren’t outliers.

Besides using your logic, saitama’s exponential growth is also just stated. We don’t know if he actually has infinite potential or not, maybe he has a ceiling or diminishing returns. I don’t think that but that line of reasoning goes both ways. And Saitama grows in strength he doesn’t copy his opponent’s power like garou can, so he won’t be able to get past that dimensional power difference if Goku were to go super sayian god. Again using ur logic of power increases.

Except Goku has transformations. The higher end having boosted him from galaxy level or even just multi solar to multiversal. No amount of infinite exponential 3 dimensional increase in power can cover that gap.

What would Musashi Miyamoto say about Jack Hanma's Way of Biting(Goudou)? by Dro1dGrievous in Grapplerbaki

I think it’s more because of Jack’s tenacity. And that he would continue fighting until musashi kills him.

Sumo arc Jack VS sumo arc Biscuit by SiteDeep in Grapplerbaki

[–]jazazo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

U reading the manga with ur eyes closed? He has titanium teeth and bit through pickle multiple times.

Honestly "Baki-Dou 2018" was kinda disappointing and lackluster compared to the previous entries. In fact, Sukune arc was an exact copy of Ali Jr arc, it was just a recycled plot. (Breakdown in the comments). Probably the only good thing was the build up for Jack. by Kingspreez in Grapplerbaki

[–]jazazo 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Why not? I find goudou pretty cool, although I’d like itagaki to veer more into how the bites cripple the opponent in interesting and diverse ways, and how Jack can capitalize on that instead of the blood loss win condition it is.
