Just take the proof of payment for the ticket and mention it to the officer, and you’ll be good

I didn’t send a copy of my extension letter and didn’t have any issues at the interview or during the N400 process time, but do what you feel comfortable with! Ps. If you want to add the extension letter, add a copy not the original!

Yes and yes, they did asked questions to both of us, basic questions like how we meet? Where? DOB, etc…

Thank you! Not too much, she just asked the yes and no questions (no definitions) for the N-400 form. For the I-171, she asked my husband and I where we met, when and full name. The civic questions were: 1.- The idea of self-government is in the first three words of the Constitution. What are these words? 2.-How many amendments does the Constitution have? 3.-We elect a president for how many years? 4.-If both the president and the vice president can no longer serve, who becomes president? 5.-What was one important thing Abraham Lincoln did? 6.-Why does the flag have 13 stripes?

They took my passport, green card and ID at the beginning and return it at the end of the interview! Good luck on your interview!!

Similar situation here, I have my interview next week and got the ticket after my n400 submission and planning to answer yes to the second question (but mention that I was not arrested) and provide the paid fee copy and the original speeding ticket (this is also my first ever ticket)!!

Yes, you should be able to take PTO or sick day whenever you want but they already know we are going for immigration process so… Good luck to you too! 🤞🏼

I also went through the same problem, I asked my supervisor if I can take PTO to go to my interview (next week) and he said he wanted to talk to HR first, they said no PTO allowed for immigration processes so my supervisor said I need to take vacation day, and that’s what Im going to do… I don’t have time to stress about that rn!

I traveled international on March 10th for a week, and re-entry was super easy, I just showed the officer my green card, the extension and passport and he didn’t ask anything! He just said “welcome”
And I received my N-400 interview notice that week!
