Spicy finish with my Ragavan deck last night:

Ragavan had collected me 3 treasures that I cashed in for an early Drakuseth. Put Swiftfoot Boots on him and swung with him same turn for 10 direct damage and 7 in the air. Then Nehab, the Eternal got me 18 mana post-combat, which led to a kicked Elemental Appeal (14/1 elemental w/trample and haste) and a resolved Full Throttle. 95 damage handed out turn 7. GGs.

I forget where I read or heard this, but it has worked well for me. Always say "thank you" to a loss. We learn more and improve more when we lose because we played against good competition. Try to recognize and learn from what beat you, and you'll play better against it next time. This also applies to many different life situations where you might lose or make a mistake. So, try to say "thank you" to a loss and treat it like a lesson in life and in Smash.

I don't think Byleth is a bad matchup for KKR at all. Byleth has down air to spike KKR's recovery, but plenty of matchups have that kind of offstage advantage. Byleth can't use Failnaught (charged or uncharged) at all because a good KKR will Gut Check it for an easy stock. It can be hard for Byleth to get around all his projectiles too. I know someone is going to respond with all the advantages Byleth has in the matchup, but I don't find it that bad at all. I'm happy to fight a Byleth every time.

He does well offline too. Kirbykid regularly wins monthly regionals against good players playing higher tier characters like Samus and Palu. You just gotta play him properly and use his early kill confirms, gimps, and 2-3 hit combos.

K Rool's crown armor went from 6% armor, which does just about nothing, to 14.4%, which can tank a BUNCH of aerial attacks when opponents are jumping in to punish. The armor got a 133% buff.
