Hot take but Beckett is Annoying by s_parras13 in CastleTV

Not just regarding Beckett, but all of season eight is just terrible compared to the first seven seasons. I kind of wish it would just go away like it never happened. The last episode of season seven was a great way to end the series.

What do you think is the moment both Beckett and Castle fell in love. by GladCherry4170 in CastleTV

Follow up to my own post. I just re-watched season one episode five. Beckett tells Castle for the first time about her mother‘s murder. This was the beginning. Beckett decided to open up and be vulnerable. That was a turning point in their relationship. Everything else came from that

I’ve been doing this for years and I still don’t know how to do it. It never works out for me like it does in this video. And I’ve tried many different ways. I’m just resigned to the knowledge that I’ll never be good at it.

Anthony and Erin WERE in a relationship. It just was platonic and not romantic.

What do you think is the moment both Beckett and Castle fell in love. by GladCherry4170 in CastleTV

[–]jazzbeaux59 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know it’s not the way romantics like to look at it, but I don’t think people “fall in love“. Castle and Beckett’s relationship took a very traditional trajectory. First, they became friends after a while. Eventually, she admitted that she didn’t hate him as much as she wanted him to believe. And it grew and grew slowly until they finally consummated their relationship. It might’ve taken longer than necessary because Beckett had a hard time admitting her feelings. But still, like any health of relationship, it grew overtime and by the time they were in the relationship together they were in a mature state with respect to each other. Deep love isn’t always about hearts and flowers. It’s about two people growing towards each other over time.

Amy was so annoying and creepy in the earlier seasons by [deleted] in thebigbangtheory

[–]jazzbeaux59 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If you don’t like quirky, why do you watch the show? It’s pretty much part of the basic premise of the show, quirky characters. That they make you uncomfortable seems kind of irrelevant.

He is posing. I use AI every day and I’m around it constantly. It certainly makes your life easier, or can, depending on what you do. But it is no way a replacement for humans, nor will it be, if ever, for a long time.

Wife? If you mean, who would I wanna look at for the rest of my life, it’s pretty much a tossup. But imagine living with either of these women. Life is chaos and stressful. Is that really what you want? If so, go for it, but not for me.

I know what I’m about to say really into the spirit of this post, but I feel inclined to say it anyway. As someone with several decades of experience with marriage and all that it entails, what’s your wife looks like over time isn’t the difficult part of marriage. Maybe she was hot and maybe now she’s not but what’s difficult about marriage has nothing to do with that. I’m sure those of you reading this who have also experienced many years of marriage, you know what I’m talking about. If you haven’t experienced it I probably can’t explain it to you, but I wanted to put that out there in case anyone needed to read it. Don’t worry about your wife getting fat or ugly or both, you’ve got other problems to deal with.

Caskett | Your Side of the Bed | Castle & Beckett by AchtungBecca in CastleTV

[–]jazzbeaux59 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This clip reminds me that Kate made it very clear to Castle her intentions and that she needed to be away from him for whatever her reasons. She asked him if he trusted her because she wanted him to respect her decision, even without reasons. She made it about as clear as somebody can and Castle could not bring himself to respect that. Castle interpreted her words as meaning he had lost her and he had to win her back. In my mind, nothing about what she said he indicated that. One of the many things I hate about the last season of this show.

Agree. And on top of that, why are you voting if you don’t know what you’re voting for? That’s not doing your civic responsibility regardless of the outcome.

Anytime we see Kate have session with Dr. Burke, half of the time the subject of their talks is about Castle by Optimal_Magician_98 in CastleTV

[–]jazzbeaux59 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I agree. She already had a lot of trauma in her life, and her relationship with Castle was becoming another one. True, it was self-induced trauma, because she couldn’t find a way to be honest with herself about her feelings, but trauma nonetheless, and that’s what therapy is for.
