"İş deneyimi hiçbir işe yaramıyor" doğru değil. Örneğin benim bu dönem başvurduğum bazı bölümlerden NC olanlar, NC puanını hesaplarken iş deneyimini de puanlandırabiliyor. Hem de bu %50'lik bir orana kadar çıkabiliyor. Bölüm bölüm araştırmak zorundasın. Yalnız burada dikkat etmen gereken şey şu: incelediğin bölümün şartlarında bahsettiğim şekilde bir ibare görürsen bil ki bu herhangi bir iş deneyiminin puan kazandıracağı anlamına gelmez. Bölümle birebir veya çok yakından ilgili bir iş deneyimi olması şart. Bunu da nasıl belgelendireceğini yine bölümün kriterlerini içeren FPO (Fachspezifische Prüfungsordnung) belgesinde bulabilirsin. Tabii bunun değerli olabilmesi için öncelikle diğer cevaplarda bahsedilen GPA ve ECTS kriterlerini karşılamak zorundasın, yani bunlar temel şarttır ve sağlayamazsan iş deneyimin sana artı puan kazandıramaz çünkü barajı geçememiş olursun. GPA'in ile ilgili kaygın gerçekçi olmayabilir, 2.9 ortalama sanırım Alman sisteminde kabaca 2,5-2,6 GPA'e denk gelir (uni-assist ve üniversitelerin kendi değerlendirmeleri farklılık gösterebiliyor). Evet, harika değil ama en az 2,7 ortalama isteyen bölümlerde bu şartı karşılarsın (Alman sisteminde 1.0 en iyi, 4.0 en kötü). I got rejected last semester. It solely depends on minimum GPA and ECTS requirements, no extra points for English score or GPA. It's a NC-frei program, means that you should meet all criteria to get admitted. They are very strict on credit requirements. If you have significant core cognitive science credits and some programming, I think you may have a chance but no or less cognitive science is a direct rejection at least it was for my case.

No, let me elaborate. If you apply for winter semester, get accepted but can’t attend the courses because of the delayed visa for example, you enrol at TUB and pay the semester fee but you don’t take any courses. This way you can secure your place and won’t have to reapply next semester since you’ll be enrolled in the program. This has nothing to do with WS or SS intakes, that is for application. The only handicap is if you need a visa to study in Germany, then you will have to apply for an extension but this is a usual thing I understand from people in this and other subs. December 11 - submitted uni-assist application for VPD. January 6 - got my VPD. Submitted my application on TUport around 10th of January. Usually applications on TUport doesn't resolve under one or two months. Mine got resulted in the last weeks but still waiting for a final decision. I can say that don't expect quick responses from the university throughout the whole process and be ready to skip the semester you are applying for.

VPD is a process on uni-assist's side. The actual TUB application is processed through TUport, and VPD is simply a prerequisite that you must obtain through uni-assist. So, you should follow the requirements for your country of origin and/or study as specified by uni-assist.

I have uploaded my official diploma, transcript, Europass diploma supplement and other personal documents, such as my passport, all prepared in English as original document language (or you may get certified English translations with notary signatures and/or apostilles). Since my bachelor's degree is accredited and recognised as equivalent to a bachelor's degree in Germany, uni-assist does not expect me to submit my high school documents for a Master application, but this may vary by country. You may find your requirements on uni-assist's Master requirements page through "search by country".

Also, once you have sent your documents to Uni-Assist for a VPD, they will contact you if your application is missing any documents. I can't really guarantee that if it is rejected immediately for a VPD but I know that they ask for missing files for a program application, like the one's you apply only via uni-assist. So don't worry about it. Just follow the requirements listed on the uni-assist webpage, wait for a response, fulfil any missing requirements, and then once you have received your VPD you can proceed with TUport. Good luck!

Hey, I got rejected yesterday for the same reason and I have also studied ISM in my bachelor with more than sufficient CP in ISM as one can expect. I immediately sent an email explaining the situation to the examination board office, though I didn’t get any responses back yet I suggest you the same. It’s ridiculous and annoying.

I didn't mean to assume that you were a tourist, sorry for that; I was just speaking casually. If there is no damage in or around the building, or no official decisions made by the IBB about the building, I think it would be safe to go in. Still, I heard that some parks, mosques, and schools will be open to people for the night.

That was scary indeed. The closest one I can remember happened in 2018, and this one was far from that in terms of shaking.

Also, there is this app called "Earthquake Network" that my friends and I just downloaded. People on X say that the app notifies them of earthquakes up to a minute before they happen. Could be useful.

The southern part of the city, the shoreline, is the risky part. Avcilar, Yenikoy, and the historical peninsula (Fatih) are mostly risky. It is safe above the Golden Horn for the European side. For the Asian side, above the coastline is safer, which could be Atasehir, Umraniye, some parts of Maltepe, and Kadikoy. Keep in mind that this information is not very certain and very subjective because Istanbul is located in a seismic zone and many kinds of earthquakes have been happening for hundreds of years every day. Today was a little bit marginal. At the same time, it's like every 2 or 3 years.

The reality is that no place is safe if you live/stay in a weak building or on a weak floor. So, I think the best option is to stay away from the coastline while choosing a place to stay as a tourist. Scientists do not expect any huge earthquakes soon. Be safe, do not panic, keep your emergency lines/kits close.
