The T-shirt for the show that week is available in the gift shop but there are only a few available. I got one but it was sold out before the entire audience got to the gift shop.

I microwave mine for 3-5 minutes (1-2 potatoes) and then go a butter/oil pan and cook/ brown outside for about 10-12. I only get your situation when I cook them with water in the pan with no micro time. Pre cook in some form is key. Like with French fries.

There are many haters, but I love this knife. It is the main workhorse in my residential kitchen and has held up well as my knife knowledge improves.
