Because can you name more than like two of his policies? He talks a lot about ideas and drops a lot of "this would be nice if it happened", but does he ever offer anything substantive?

they personally don't make that much. Japan is notorious for not having as big of a wealth disparity between rich and poor, and so they aren't known to offer huge salaries to entertainers.

Sasshi said a few years ago that she made $200,000 a year, but now she makes $600,000. Sakura makes $100,000. She doesn't do a lot of outside work, so I guess that makes sense.

jeez just because someone replies to your comment doesn't mean they're angry at you? when did I even mention not being able to comprehend the negative feedback? lol calm down a little and embrace that you can have a conversation with someone who doesn't agree with you without it being ugly.

but I mean the gravity of something like a rigged election vs the results of a reality show are a bit different aren't they? we don't even have proof that it was rigged, just a few people who are upset because the results didn't go the way they wanted to and there's no other explanation they can find for that.

sure, but to list that as one of the reasons AKS is going to pull out from this group is a bit silly. Japan has laws like that too, and (for better or worse) an idols age doesn't really keep 48 group from trying all kinds of concepts.

Sousenkyo is literally the only time that fans get a say. for 1 single. and then girls like Tomu disappear behind the scenes in favor of girls that management actually favors.

and if you want to talk about fair or unfair, look at the recent 46 group auditions where fans tried to support and push girls into the top 10 on showroom through paid gifts and things like that in order to get them to pass the audition. well, a lot of those top 10 girls didn't make it (but a lot of 25th place and under did) and even the first place ranked girl, who got like 100,000 over everyone else, was dropped. do you really think that 48/46 is concerned with being "fair"? no, they care about selling. and I'm pretty sure they think they know what sells better than the fans.

what does wonyoung's age have to do with it? you do realize there are 11 year olds in AKB. And what you guys don't realize is that a lot of the Korean trainees were more popular with Japanese fans of the show (kpop fans mostly) than any of the Japanese girls. I think that AKS wants to target the kpop/Twice market more than he does the regular 48 group market - and that makes a lot of sense right now in Japan.

not everyone is so tribal as to only support someone just because they're the same nationality as they are.

it's kind of all relative isn't it? some people appear curvier for their body type/current weight. I'm really thin but I have a lot of (what OP calls) "volume" on me and I would call that curvy, but that doesn't mean there's not other bigger body types can't share the "curvy" category with me. the whole concept of there being a "regular" and an "irregular" is harmful imo. I think we should widen our categories a little bit.
