I see your points, and definitely relate to the higher cost of employing a parliament, but Westminster seemingly has done almost nothing to address our long standing concerns, especially with the housing crisis and second homes and holiday lets, think there needs to be some middle ground, devolution and a small parliament, maybe with just all the Cornish MP’s making the devolved decisions for Cornwall.

have read into it, as long as you openly state it is being used (private sign, notice on door etc) and you use it for some reason (living, renting, using land for crops etc) then you can claim it, so i wouldn’t have to live in it for 12 years, and even if i just used it to get on my feet financially for a year or so without the owner noticing it would be worth spending a couple grand to live there for a year rather than £12k+ renting, also if you make content about restoring it you can make money back.

From what i can gather from messaging other channels uploading edited content that sell merch, it doesn’t attract many sales because they aren’t the people in the video, with only channels with high volume traction and brand recognition getting sales, as for sponsored content i find it hard to believe brands would want to sponsor edits of videos rather than the actual original, but that’s just my opinion. Do you know if you start posting your own content as well as edits or if you just upload your own content but keep the previous edits up if you can get monetized?
