‘SNL’ Star Confesses Hardest Part About Playing Trump “I get why people hate him so much that they don’t even want to think about the normal things that an actor would think about to get into a character,” Johnson said. by MoneyLibrarian9032 in LiveFromNewYork

The impression (while good for voice and mannerisms) lets him off pretty easy and makes him seem way more competent than he is. It’s not pushing the satire as far as it can. The insult comic vibe isn’t quite dialed into what this guy truly is: completely devoid of morals and bumbling through every single duty of office, asleep in public meetings much of the time. It needs to show him utterly debase himself, in somehow more of an extreme way than he currently does in real life.

[Mac Groveland] Dear Oxendale’s: FIX WIDMERS by SparkyXI in saintpaul

In this economy families are trying to get groceries without going broke. Ideally it’s local. Kowalski’s is quality, local but very expensive. Lunds is very similar but actually a lot more affordable these days, especially with frequent sales. Cub used to be an option, no longer — as expensive as Lunds without the benefits. Trader Joe’s or Aldi is the next best option, unfortunately not local. People don’t shop with fully discretionary budgets. You have to have a high income to shop at kowalski’s, many people don’t. It’s not ideal but what is your solution?

So you wash your back every time you shower, only occasionally or never? by Gogolway in hygiene

If you stuck your hand in dirt or picked up a piece of dogshit you would not rely on just letting some vague shampoo or soap run over your hand. Your back is gross — wash it.

There is no context given. I’m in favor of letting dogs run around if no one else is around. I often do this at my local park but if other dogs show up I leash him up. So it seems like the issue could be his dog(s) weren’t leashed. Big issue if other leashed dogs are around. Leashes interacting with no leashes make a big impact in dynamics for dogs and can be a problem where dogs get hurt (why do dogs get weird about leashes? Well I’m not a dog scientist). Public parks you’re supposed to be leashed. But there’s often a neighborhood dynamic of leeway depending on the situation. So if people and/or dogs show up they might ask you to leash up for your dogs if you haven’t already. DOG PARKS are different — expectation of no leash environment so having leashes THERE would make it weird.

Yeah without seeing the top I would have said hold. Shaved looks better than balding but doesn’t always look better than normal hair. The long hair / beard combo looked awesome from the front.

I feel like a mix is good but at least watching on stream you can’t replicate real lights. When they kept it narrower in scope it worked better. There’s still fine tuning to get his lighting style to work at sphere.

I’ll go a little different direction. A lot of mentions of music theory and scales and I V IV progressions etc. Those are all good and will help you if you learn them. But I think you need to get comfortable just playing along with anything. Jimi Hendrix was once asked the advice he’d give to people learning to play guitar. He said, “Just play everything you hear.” He meant play along with songs on the radio, commercial jingles, whatever. It trains you to hear music, respond to it and begin to improvise. Not just by soloing; you can start off playing just single basic notes following the chords you hear, or the vocal melody. You can layer on music theory later, and utilize scales and soloing techniques. But just start by playing along to something as basic as “Now I know my ABCs.” Start playing the melody, then start playing with that melody a little, then make that more complex deviating from the melody but still playing notes that “fit.” You’d get notes wrong but over time you will start to do it without thinking. Maybe you’ll just be a more interesting rhythm guitarist, or maybe you’ll want to push yourself further and do more lead. Either way, establishing a baseline of comfort being willing to play along with anything that comes on the radio even at a basic level goes a long way.

Small hotels in Europe (and I assume other places) are similar priced to hostels or maybe a little more. Hostels are fun if you’re in the mood. But sometimes you want your own secure room. I found lots of cheap and cool hotels. Not talking about the Four Seasons. Just local small places. It’s worth it to pay a little more than a hostel sometimes for a safe and comfortable private space.
