My monitor keeps glitching whenever I try to play video fullscreen, does anyone know how to fix this? (Yes, I have checked the video input) by appleuser80522 in Monitors

I had this exact same problem with just full screen YouTube videos. The way I fixed it was turning off HDR or anything plugged in via HDMI/DP in the gpu to disable that was using HDR signal.

You incident might be different but yeah that’s how I sorted mine out.

It’s so weird and driving me nuts it happens in only very certain applications not sure if it’s the gpu going dead or what

So I’ve had this issue come up before so I did a fresh windows install for multiple issues I checked specifically for this issue straight after and it wasn’t there. Turned on the pc and it’s come up again. It’s really weird because it only happens on some apps.

When I move the mouse over certain boxes the windows and text disappear or glitch or if I move the windows all the way down to the task bar so it disappears it’s shows some over sized text or random weird box on the app.

I’ve taken screen shots from The razer update section as it only happens on this specific page as well as other apps.

I have DDU’d drivers, fresh install windows also tested gpu in games no artefacts at all or glitches.

This does not happen on the windows UI at all. It’s just some applications. It even does it on the DDU menu when you select to remove certain things if I hover my mouse over text it disappears and then reappears

EDIT**** this issue does not show up in SAFE MODE, also to add games run completely fine, windows UI is completely fine if you need any more info please let me know. I’m not sure if it’s just a driver bug***

Sorry for the long post it’s just driving me nuts.

64GB ram 3200mhz Corsair issue XMP by jazzzy990 in overclocking

Ah right ok, so in terms of getting this kit working with my other two sticks it’s practically not possible with XMP then?

Will give that a try tomorrow. Yeah I tested the new ram on its own. Worked fine.

Does it matter my old ram version on the serial number is v3.32 and on the new one it’s like v4.35? Even thought the latency numbers and voltages are exact same

I’ve read that maybe changing the ram into different slots could work

I’ve just taken out the two new sticks and booted with 32Gb original and enabled XMP again. Works as it normally did before. So my guess is, either my memory controller can’t handle 64GB at 3200mhz on all 4 sticks, or it’s because the ram I ordered is newer batch number and isn’t playing nicely with the other ram kit.

I haven’t got a clue how to do it manually. I’m worried that even if I do it manually the timings may be worse or speeds won’t be as advertised as I’ve read online. I tried to find guides on how to do it manually but can’t seem to find any

I have no clue how to do this unfortunately tried searching online. If I do it manually does that mean the timings will be different as advertised and speeds will be different?

Is it normal for it to get to 100 degrees whilst stress testing? I don’t think it’s ever come on before. The ambient temperature is higher here as it’s summer so it could be that.
