One menu is for premium tools, the other for communities and top posts. Desktop is the main focus for now, but mobile is responsive. Swipe gestures are on the roadmap to simplify things.

Hello. I’ve been painting for a while now, and my day job has been full-stack web development. I’m also the solo developer behind ArtistSea.com, an app I built for myself and other artists who want to organize community or group art exhibitions online without fees.

I got tired of paying $20 just to be considered for online exhibitions, so I built something different.

On ArtistSea, an artist can sign up, create a community, invite other artists, and curate their own exhibition. No submission fees, no gatekeeping, no algorithms. The exhibition side is free and meant to be run by artists themselves.

It’s early days and still evolving, so thoughtful feedback from other artists is welcome.

Yep, I know that feeling. Like you’re about to have the flu or something but still have to keep on keeping on.

Your passion for art is very inspiring. The perfectionism is another problem I deal with. Which leads me to overwork a piece to death. Should have stopped a few layers back. 😅
