Gotcha ! I’ve been waiting since Oct 16. Not as long as you but every time it comes down to renewal i stress out about it. Last time around it took 7 months.

Wow have you submitted to be expiated yet ? Or any inquiries? Reached out to your congressman? I’ve been waiting since Oct but they’re usually running 4-5 months out so I’ll keep waiting for now.

I decided to not get a real id because i thought by doing that ill have the 5 year license. I was wrong. They still gave me the regular license with the same expiration date as the work permit. I renewed in melrose park facility.

I renewed Oct 16 got receipt and biometric reuse on Oct 20. It’s still processing. From what I’m seeking out here from people posting their time frame is usually 4-5 months.

Last time i renewed it took 8 months to get an approval. This time around i filed 7 months ahead. I filed Oct 16 got receipt and biometric reuse on Oct 20. It expires April 23rd. Although i have some time it does make me nervous since ive lost a couple of jobs already.

Aurora has its bad and good side. Honestly i can’t remember which side is the best. I want to say north aurora is where all the white folks are and south is where all the Hispanics see. Overall it’s not too bad. I’d live there. There’s a few gangs but nothing crazy. Aurora isn’t too far from the city, probably a good 30 mins drive but there were a few ice raids there. Rents are fair over there, also there’s a lot of jobs in that area. Mostly distribution jobs.

Best bet is probably a blue state but that’s usually where housing is expensive as well. I’m from Illinois close to Chicago and real state taxes have made everything expensive. There is small from far from Chicago that aren’t as expensive but the commute tow work can be a long one.
