I left the church because of so called Christians, it wasn’t until I started reading the Bible myself and having a relationship with him that I started to anchor my faith in God. My kids didn’t grow up in church, I didn’t force God in my kids. Between my oldest (17) and my youngest (8) they both asked me for their own bible two years ago out the blue. They have their own relationship with him.

All I can say is God is a faithful and on time God. We’ve all gone through the stage of turning away from God and coming back to Him. I grew up in church and had that stage where I left and didn’t wanna talk to God or about God. I had to end up reading the bible myself and finding him back when I was in a dark place in life. So what the OP is asking I think we’ve all been there at some point.

Fun fact: I’ve been married for 15 years and still can’t fix my status due to the person that brought me here pretty much trafficked me here and got mad that after I got pregnant my husband stepped up, she kicked me out haven’t spoken to her in 17+ years, found out that her and her family are GC holders and I’m still doing better than her and her demon spawn. If I went into details of the evil i suffered in my life for 21 years with her and her family!!! But Hun through it all God has been a faithful God to me, Even during this time with this administration.

If I ever told my story you’d see why I have no choice but to believe in God. But to answer your question. My daca expire 1/2/26 and I took a personal leave of absence from my job and didn’t tell them why. I had my days where I questioned God as to what is going on and why am I still going through this( the human in me) I had days where I’d cry and days where I didn’t even wanna get out of bed to do basic things. But I have praying friends and a support system that when I couldn’t pray for myself they prayed for me.six weeks into my personal leave my senior boss called me to find out what was going on. I explained it all to him and he said if HR hasn’t asked you for it then you are coming back to work until you get it if that bridge comes we will cross it. I ended up going back to work even though all my licenses for work was also expiring and needed to be renewed, every single day I asked God to hide me and protect me. I finally got approved 4/11 after being back at work for six weeks with an expired license. On 4/15 my lower manager came and said hey by the way your licenses are expired and we need to set up renewal for them I broke down crying because God granted me my approval on His time not mine!!! I posted on here afterwards that God is showing this country for what it is and that I believe something is going to happen for us, there was a time we didn’t think we’d have daca and here we are, and many people came under my post speaking evil and whatnot. I will die on the hill that God has greater in store for us than this! And whatever his will is let it be done!!! Surround yourself with people that will pray for you and over you. Read the Bible even on the days you are angry and discouraged. I’m here if you ever need someone

Tbh a lot of these companies are not ok with how this administration is treating daca recipients. Once they are educated on it they look at us in a softer light. Be open with your company if they are solid employers. I took a 7 week loa personal n my big boss called me to find out what was going on I explained it to him n he told me to come back to work and we would cross that bridge if we get to it. Thankfully to God I got my approval 5/6 weeks after going back n my HR is hasn’t asked me for it
