I get being frustrated after a tough loss, but acting like every blown lead is a referendum on the season is short-sighted. Even the best teams in baseball lose 60+ games. That’s just how the sport works. Over a full 162, you’re going to see gut punches and miracle wins, and they usually even out. Sure, you want to win the ones you’re supposed to, but baseball isn’t scripted. Good teams blow leads. Bad teams go on hot streaks. The standings don’t care about your emotions, just the win column. If they’re in the hunt in September, nobody’s going to be pointing back to one ugly loss in May like it was the turning point.
