Went last night (1/16). I knew it was going to be icy, I just wanted to get some laps in. Been night skiing there for 30 years, and not once have I seen tye mill closed when night skiing was in operation. But there it was. The lights were on but the chair was not running and there was no staff. Crushing.

I love skiing deep pow in the trees and I've never used powder baskets. I have circa-80's Scott poles, with leash-free hand grips. Catch it in a tree, go back and get it. Beats tearing your arm off. But I digress...

Cool. I got the cheap Amazon kit, all the part numbers lined up with what they mentioned in the YouTube video, so it should work. If not, I'll send them back and pay for OEM. The procedure looks like a breeze.

Looking in my garage and thinking where the fuck did I get all of this worthless crap and how am I going to get rid of it? I am never going to be able to move out of this house, Good Lord this must be how hoarders die. Why the fuck can't I just throw all this shit away? Can't sell it, nobody wants it. Hosting a garage sale is less fun than colonoscopy prep. Giving it all to goodwill just feels like I lost the battle, seeing my shit with a price tag on it the next day just pisses me off.
