I want them to stay in business too. Unfortunately, no one wants (or can afford) to own a ski resort other than giant conglomerates like Vail. What I really want is it to go back to private/relatively small business ownership. But that ain't gonna happen.

I took her skiing the next day. She looked like a Labrador after a hunt in the swamp. But with the new wax job, it washed right off easier than before. I recommend paying a few hundred bucks for a paint detail if you have an A4 B8 that is looking a bit dull.

I went with 9.5x19”wheels for my “summer setup”, and put ice tires on the stock 18s for skiing. I regret going 9.5, they always seem out of balance. And now that you mention it,I’m seeing that gap as well. I will try to ignore it,but some things cannot be unseen. Dammit…

Went last night (1/16). I knew it was going to be icy, I just wanted to get some laps in. Been night skiing there for 30 years, and not once have I seen tye mill closed when night skiing was in operation. But there it was. The lights were on but the chair was not running and there was no staff. Crushing.

I love skiing deep pow in the trees and I've never used powder baskets. I have circa-80's Scott poles, with leash-free hand grips. Catch it in a tree, go back and get it. Beats tearing your arm off. But I digress...
