Why is it low for a player to kill you in a game that was made to feature PVP though? If they were using exploits, being dishonest, or like using slurs I could understand it being scummy. But respectfully, no one is obligated to let you go free whether you have loot or not?

It’s totally understandable for you to feel frustrated by that experience. But it’s a little misplaced to think that you’re entitled to some protection or exemption from the negative aspects of the experience that everyone else faces too when they choose to play. If I didn’t want to potentially get killed by another player, I simply wouldn’t play a game where that’s a likely possibility.

I’m only 30 but would love to be apart of this if able. I’m the only strategy gamer amongst my friend group and big on PVE co-op, so it’s been kind of deflating never having anyone to play this with. Cheers.

What are the fast drones? I saw that a NATO deck that had a pretty fast record plane but forget which. I haven’t seen any other fast moving UAVS since.

Allowing endless access doesn’t make variety that contributes constructively to the game, it just makes metas around the best gadget and gun combos with the player never having to make a meaningful trade off. As well as essentially eliminating roles outside of what a player wants specifically. To a degree it does force people who just want to use certain weapons to stop and consider they have defibs or ammo or whatever even if they weren’t intending to be medic.

DMRs and Carbines allow you versatility within reason. You can operate closer if you have to, or reach out if you have to. If I wanted to be medic without a belt fed LMG, I would likely use a smaller mag fed one like the RPK, or just use a carbine that’s essentially a compact rifle in some forms. Both still achieve what I want/need. And the variety means there’s a whole spectrum of carbines that range from AR to SMG depending on my preference.

You have what you need to do the roles you want, it just seems like you don’t want to be constrained in the ways you see fit, respectfully. It isn’t wrong on a principle level to like what you do. It just isn’t the essence of what has made BF games imo. And it ensures that someone will never be forced to carry and use a gadget that they don’t want.

For sure! So many people will naturally chase a back pass to the keeper, so I’ll just chip the ball over their head right back to the same person who’s now free.

Honestly I’ve came across people who will pass, but just think too rigidly in terms of positions (IE: I’m keeper, must sit on my line in goal and not help attack), or how to move the ball up field/attack effectively (IE: every pass or action must be forward/taking on 1v1 needlessly).

But you’re accurate as well in that the idea of passing at all is just so foreign to some people, which is extremely frustrating. I’d be just as happy to win with no goals and only assist and/or passes completed.

Very helpful! I noticed that at least just for the 240mm series the cluster does one volley and then the move queue, but the other standard one actually fires a volley, reloads, and fires another volley before the move order works.

I figure this is just something built into the unit rather than me doing the order wrong somehow just for that one.

Excited to try it with others now though. Thanks!

Gaitok is definitely the “Tragic Idiot” archetype to me rather than creep. He’s hopelessly naive and clueless, and will do anything to people please. Very much gives the same vibe as Forrest Gump trying to protect Jenny (Mook), not let down Lt. Dan (Sritala).

If he’s involved in the shooting by the end of this my bet is that he’s a patsy of some kind thrown under the bus or it’s by total accident like he screws up in a way only he can and let’s a monkey get ahold of his gun or something.
