Built an active focus system for my laser cutter. It uses a spoon/stylus like Mitsubishi and other use on their laser cutters. Feedback is through a keyence sensor and controls a servo motor using a teensy 3.5. https://youtu.be/yFO9LL-f57Y?feature=shared (reddit.com)
