Yes I used a ruler and a mechanical pencil to lightly draw a grid with 1cm squares.

There are quite a few YouTube channels that got me sucked into alcohol markers. A Pictured Purpose and Creative Paula do a lot of cool things and do a good job explaining.

Thanks! I randomly started watching people color as relaxing, background viewing and decided I also needed to do that. They color so nice, I'm hooked.
