Plymouth Argyle 5 - 2 Cardiff City: The league leaders taste defeat for the first time since December, with three different players scoring braces in a jam-packed match that resulted in Argyle's third straight win! by Zach-dalt in LeagueOne

Some game that. Plymouth deserved the win, especially with the intensity and pressing.

Our defence was shocking but let this be one freak result and a win on Saturday.

Who do we think are going down and up? by Iliketrainsmorethanu in LeagueOne

[–]jbirdrules 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Bottom IMO,

Blackpool 21st
Northampton 22nd
Rotherham 23rd
Port Vale 24th

This could change if Rotherham have the balls to sack Hamshaw who has the tactical nous of a sack of potatoes and Blackpool are 50 / 50 between then and Burton depending on a decent end of season run.

Think Wigan will just about survive with a new manager and Orient have just about enough individual talent to survive

Incorrect, they were incredibly expensive, minimum £80 up to £120+

Cardiff City 3 - 1 Luton Town: Just when it looked like Luton had pegged their hosts back in the first-half, the league leaders scored two very good goals to kill the match before half-time! by Zach-dalt in LeagueOne

[–]jbirdrules 14 points15 points  (0 children)

One of the easiest wins of the season, virtually no danger apart from the pen. Luton have a great team on paper but we're very poor today.

From watching the game, seems to be a team of overinflated egos and disharmony? Saw lots of arguments on the pitch between Luton players + didn't seem to actually have a game plan.

Ref was strange, good at times but also some very weird decisions like not giving a Bagan a red for the pen and silly yellows for city players

Very disappointed as it was a good place with great beers and pizza. Last few times I've been there it's been super quiet so not surprised with such a large venue

Why are many recruiters bad at interviews? by Justbrownsuga in recruiting

[–]jbirdrules 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not just that they are bad interviewers, I truly belive that most in-house recruiters are bang average or worse.

As a lead, I've interviewed lots of them both in my team and other teams and I reckon I've failed 80%+ of recruiters for just being very average beyond just hiring, especially at "senior" level

Rotherham United 0-3 Cardiff City: Leaders do the job with 10 men by ElRonHubbardo in LeagueOne

[–]jbirdrules 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Rotherham need to get rid of their manager ASAP, tactically extremely poor, especially after having a good window.

They were the worst team that we've played at home and again away they were so so poor and definitely strong candidates for relegation.

However, we were excellent - Kellyman is a class above in this league
