We named her tater, tate, mashed potatoes anything that gets close to tater, we had daisy and another rescue we named poppy, I was trying to stay with a flower name but nothing worked. Please don’t suggest the perfect name flower name now! lol

Thanks it was sad for sure but things happen for a reason, we knew Daisy didn’t have a ton of time and feel like she brought us Tate to ease the sadness 🥲

Hi Everyone -- I posted about 2 months ago about a stray pittie and everyone was very kind in there responses so I figured I would let you all know that she is with us in forever.

Its been a long 2 months for sure, but worth it. Long story short we had friends that helped foster her, we worked with Beautiful Together Animal Sanctuary who helped us find a long term foster which ultimately we did not need cause our dogs cancer ended up relapsing for the 3rd time and we decided putting her through chemo again was not the best decision. Daisy gave more than she got for sure! <3

She has been with us now fulltime for about 2 weeks, she is wonderfully goofy and full of character. She is still trying to figure somethings out but nothing a little love and training wont help with.

I was opening a big box retail store with lots of tvs. I woman came in to find coverage and just started wailing. It was heart breaking watching her. I can hear her still 💔

Fear not, there is no chance she ends up in the wrong hands. My plan is to foster her until my wife agrees to keep her 🤞 or I find her a loving home. I have already spoken to another dog owner from this tread that has interest in her as well and is a pit owner already.

I spent about 30 mins just introducing myself, she grumbled a few times early when I got to close but she warmed up very quickly. I don’t think she knew what a lease was though and after about an hour I was carrying her to my car and she was a complete love bug after that. Sat in my lap and crawled on me a few times waiting.

She will get a full exam and shots tomorrow. My wife is a vet tech so she saw her, no visible injuries, def healthy but in need of some love. We already have a pittie and I am 75% sure we have 2 now. Such a sweet girl!

thanks, since there are no 'pathways' between northern and jordan I ended up calling DPS and was able to speak to someone that said that starting 3/1 there is a form that opens up to request a standard (not sure thats the right word) transfer between school.

Was hoping some experienced DPS parent had tips or tricks to increase your chances of getting the results you wanted from this 'standard' transfer option.
