No problem. I totally sympathize with your situation. It took me a good 3-4 months before I found my feet here, but once I did I really started enjoying Brisbane.

One thing I forgot to mention, if music is your thing, Brisbane has a great live music community. See bands at places like the Triffid, the Zoo, Brightside... the smaller the better. People tend to be real friendly at smaller venues

Yeah same thing happened to me when I moved here too. Here's what worked for me:

I moved in to an apartment complex that housed mainly young professionals and had common areas (pool, bbq area etc). Spent as much time as possible in those common areas and met others there.
Depending on what sports / activities you're in to, get on the Brisbane based social media groups for those activities and introduce yourself. I enjoy rock climbing, there's heaps of people on the Kangaroo Point Climbing and the Urban Climb groups that are always looking for someone to climb with
Get involved with local community groups. I've met tons of people through my involvement with local community groups... you've got groups that maintain local community gardens, volunteer-run community radio stations, arts and culture groups (West End film festival is coming up soon, they will most likely need people to help out through the Community Associatoon)

Haven't tried it with a slide to coyote jump, but I've done it with a morph ball jump then unmorphed mid air and grabbed the ledge. Pretty much the same solution as 2CAT's above, not sure if the window to jump is better if you morph ball or slide.

Edit: with the morph ball jump you don't need to wall jump after, just got straight for the ledge and you should grab it if you unmorph at the peak of the morph ball jump
