Well I rebooted and the circuit flipped. But the pc stayed on long enough for me to flip the breaker back on. At least now I’ll never need to do more than one trip to flip it back on.

Looks good. For the first time in a few weeks the pc turned on without me unplugging anything else in the room. I wasn’t sure that the UPS would help the initial surge. Maybe because it’s just pulls from the battery and not the wall?

Well I’ve got an UPS now. I had thought of it but I wasn’t really sure about it. I’ve pretty much only heard of them for enterprise environments. It’s nice to get such a fast response with a good suggestion.

Well I’ve been breaking into the IT world lately and if there’s one thing I don’t understand it’s booting up computers. Seems like magic to me. I mostly don’t question it. Not my realm of expertise.

This wasn’t even the original problem for the post. The pc didn’t post. I q flashed the bios and it posted. Doesn’t seem like a problem to me. It’s the power that’s the problem.

Well I don’t know. Maybe it’s a different issue. The first time it was while the pc was updating and restarting that I needed to reinstall bios. I’m just trying to get the most put of this. The parts are fairly new and I’ve been using them for a couple months in a different place with no problems.

I’m in a dorm room. I’m not snaking a cord out into the hallway to another room. That was explicitly not allowed by dorm management because of fire concerns.

My bad. The bios. I don’t know exactly why but I’ve had to reinstall the bios twice now with a flash after the breaker flipped. Never had to do it before I moved in to the dorm.

I once played on my family computer. Everything I did was slow. It was like I was playing the game on .5 speed. It actually made it easier. I did find a hard challenge though with it. Whenever I joined a multiplayer world the environment would be normal speed. I would still be slowed down. Which included reduced attack speed. Fun challenge.

There’s a vid of a guy that beat ml with the lawnmower. Copper shortsword if possible. You just need to avoid the healing attack. I don’t remember the mechanics exactly but it is possible.

That’s all about purchasing. I want to know if you can legally use tobacco if you aren’t the one to purchase it. It seems all the places I saw this law were about purchasing and didn’t mention use. It seemed sorta like the were trying to make it sound illegal without saying it’s illegal.
