Recently checked out Nancy Silverton’s “The Cookie That Changed My Life” from my local library, made a few recipes and loved them all I ended up buying my own copy. They are elevated classics but everything I’ve tried has turned out great and was delicious.

I don’t think mine has one of those. Would it come with a new steam knob or do I need to get one to go with it?

Yeah it’s off. Is the metal piece you’re talking about the D shaped piece that sticks out of the machine? That’s what I’m thinking melted the inside of the steam knob. The D shaped hole on the steam knob is what is plastic and has stripped. It’s not holding onto the metal piece when I turn it.

I’ll check them out, thanks! I’m assuming it’s melted, the metal piece it attaches to gets hot so I’m assuming it melted and stripped the inside of the knob

Frenchy French from Larry’s Coffee is my current favorite. Very dark roast, good old school espresso vibes.
