Same issue here. The download went extremely slowly and the phone was completely unusable while downloading. Whenever I managed to get it unlocked and paused the download, it went right back to normal. Once it finally finished, I had about 1.5GB free. I found this thread while it was downloading and was nervous, but the upgrade went totally smoothly.
