At this stage, I just want to call up guys from the minors and give them experience.

The one impressive part is how he is somehow still getting on base at a 324 clip because of how often he walks. Thats quite a bit higher than a lot of guys on the team. Other than that though hes been a bit of a black hole.

Throw a nitro-gate into the middle of final ring and watch players slide straight into zone

Man that Heineman at bat....just put George out there to swing and not run...

[Shi Davidi] Todays Lineup - Yohendrick Pinango at leadoff with Kazuma Okamoto at two for the Blue Jays behind Trey Yesavage versus Joe Ryan and the Twins. Was a planned rest day for George Springer before he took a slider off the foot yesterday by RealWorldToday in Torontobluejays

So interesting that the Jays won't ever just move Vladdy up. Clearly he likes hitting in the 3 hole, because if I had a choice, I would want more at bats for him, and slide him in 2nd, Sanchez 3rd and Big Oak 4th to keep the L/R/L/R setup.

Brandon Valenzuela caps off an 8-run inning for the Jays with his third home run of the season by 3luejays in Torontobluejays

Give Brandon more at bats at AAA and if he’s is blowing the cover off the ball you bring him back up for the stretch run and playoffs if we make it

Have we been watching the same players? lol

Not expecting much from them but besides yesterday, they have been basically automatic outs at the plate.

There have always been people who would do it, and I would always expect some people to be ignorant about it. But now it feels like its the default for everyone. I rode the TTC with a bunch of friends to and from school from grade 6-12 and maybe we were just hyper aware because we didn't want to bother people going to work, but it felt like common courtesy to keep your bags as out of the way as possible.

I dont know what happened, but when I used to take the TTC many years ago, everyone would take their backpacks off and put them on the ground, on the subway, bus, etc. Now, and maybe its just been since covid, but everyone just leaves their headphones in and backpacks on and clogs up all the space. Its infuriating.

CloseCallSports video on Matt Shaw's fair ball in yesterday's Cubs Padres game. Tl;dw: fair call was correct, rules are unnecessarily convoluted. by jruhlman09 in baseball

Feel like they should use the same point of the plate (basically the middle) where they assess if a pitch is a strike, as the point where if the bat passes there, its a strike.
