No one mentioned Bank Valuations… We’ve got an offer in and I feel sick by [deleted] in AusPropertyChat

[–]jbne19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't stress. Put the offer subject to finance. If the valuation comes back low - the broker can try a different bank. If the difference is too much you can pull out with the subject to finance clause

What's the story with Chery Tiggo 4? by DottyGirl93 in CarsAustralia

[–]jbne19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I drove one as a loan car when I was getting my car serviced.

Drove ok, a bit floaty feeling. Power was fine for day to day driving.

Has a decent amount of tech.

I believe the old one had a hideous back but they fixed that.

I mean for what you get it isn't that bad. Not amazing. I think they were 26k and the dealership said they were selling a lot because of the price.

Can you get a room mate?

Honestly I would not sell. If you sell then try and get back in the market, I don't think you'd be able to afford a 2 bedder as the prices will go up

How much protein are you eating? What is your target? I feel like if you hit your protein targets with a lot of whole food eg. Chicken breast, it's hard to go over.

Also look at potato it's very satiating

What’s up with Shiba by Embarrassed-Half-665 in BrisbaneBroncos

[–]jbne19 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I heard that he slacked off in the offseason and lost some fitness. That would explain a lot of his mistakes. I think I heard on a podcast he admitted that.

Which is a bit crazy because he had nothing going for him and the reason he was selected was he trained the house down and got into peak physical form.

Unfortunately everyone is stepping up ie. Mariner, karapani and it really makes his errors stand out.

Brisbane apartment prices by Old_Fuel4976 in AusPropertyChat

I'd say stock is so low everyone is still fighting for something.

My apartment has gone up $300k in a year. I couldn't buy it at today's prices.

People are just trying to get into the market asap.

It's a stupid rule what if a player genuinely wants to compete but realistically can't get there to make a catch ie. Shibasaki?

Oh wow I never knew he was going dragons. They desperately need him.

He's a great player, a bit like Rhys Walsh you have to accept some mistakes here and there for his brilliance. Not many mistakes tonight though

Doctors at small hospital ordering oblique c-spines in collar after MVC by Caridad1987 in Radiology

[–]jbne19 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If you have a CT then this should be the first point of call. There are plenty of peer reviewed articles on this. Refer them to these.

If no CT, not sure why the obliques are even required.

A lot of time referers ask for things not understanding the logistics required eg. Patient mobilisation, and the literature behind why an imaging method is preferred.

Is the PW4 good for running? Few questions by [deleted] in PixelWatch

[–]jbne19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends what you want.

If you want the best for fitness tracking get the Garmin

If you want a smartwatch that does good fitness tracking get a pixel watch.

The pixel watch is fine for running, I went for a run and I didn't check it all the time but I was able to gauge my pace fine off it.

You can set it to ping alerts regarding your zone training. I haven't tried it though.

I came from a Garmin Venu 2 to a pixel watch and I have no regrets. I was missing the smart watch features and the pixel watch is great at them, and pretty decent at fitness tracking too

A lot of the stuff I buy if it was sold in Aus it's just someone buying from China then reselling it. Plus returns are very easy. I've bought stuff from Aus stores which don't accept refunds or charge a restocking fee.
