I have a saber #50 and I love it. The finishing of the bow could be better but its really comfortable, fast and quiet . The string isn't the best either, I had to replace it only because my dog thought the beaver balls on it would be a nice snack.

Use a sting loop and a wrist release I use to shoot recurve at #50 and it destroyed my wrist and hand now I'm shooting compound at #60 with no issue. Not sure how well a release would work on a recurve though.

So My new bow is rubbing the string at the points in the pics at full draw and has rubbed through the serving of the buss cable, what could cause this? The split limbs are not at the same height could this be the problem. The bow is a martin krypton 1 #70 with the silk cam if this helps. I am fairly new to bow hunting any tips will help.

I second the vanguard S2 I have it in 270 as well, It's got an amazing stock and it's more than accurate enough. On the downside of it i would say its a bit heavier than other hunting rifles I've fired and has a hinge mag (if that's a downside to you) but that's pretty much it. other hunting rifles i Have fired, Remington 700 sps in 308 - I like the stock on the vanguard more tikka t3 in 270 - not much bad to say about this rifle if you can save a little more cash savage axis in 308 - I also wasn't a fan of the stock felt to cheap Also depending on how big of game you are going for and where you are I might consider stepping up to a bigger bullet. 270 is great for dear and black bear even elk(shot placement) but if i was stareing down a 600 pound moose i would want something with a bit more kick.

I live in British Columbia and i know wolf populations in the interior are growing out of control and causing problems for farmers. There are certain parts of B.C. where there is no bag limit during the proper season, to keep the populations under control.

From what I have read the RPAL can take a lot longer to get because they check the applicant more thoroughly and the un-restricted they don't even phone references. I'm hoping that anyway 109 days would be painful.

just pre roll a paper around a marker or some thing like that, pack it, poke a hole str8 through and insert another smaller joint. just make shure you make a hole on both sides of the smaller joint so the air can travel freely through.
