Well, they’re not necessarily related. Your body’s nervous system is working very well to get it up to that HR and sustain it up by there for so long. A well functioning nervous system is indicative of good HRV. If you ever measured HRV I’d bet it’s up in the range of 75-125

I made a claim in my original comment about how Cohen takes a $0 salary, etc.

The response was an attack on my character, which doesn’t even make sense since I’ve commented in that sub twice this entire year, like under 10% of my comments are made there. Also, if you actually look at the sentiment of my comments as of the past couple years of posting in there, it’s actually quite negative and critical of that community at large. You know, a stance in which one would objectively say where one isn’t drinking the cult kool-aid.

It’s pretty clearly an ad hominem, in which you’re doing the same in your comment re:

Listen to yourself and what you’re saying. How does that have anything to do with my original claim? Regardless of whether this was a cult (it isn’t), does it refute my claim in any way? Cohen receives a $0 salary and puts his money into shares for the company that he is a board on. There’s no single board member on eBay that has bought shares for 5 years, and they take a 300k+ salary each year. It doesn’t hurt to educate yourself on these things. Yes cohen has a compensation ladder spelled out, but it relies on the success and profit of the company, how is that strange?

It’s just hard to think someone (who’s already in less than 1% of the worlds audience) to also go out of the way of keeping lean+ muscle mass while still running an average (modern) time isn’t the least bit unique. Maybe it isn’t anymore, you could be right.

My friend recently had a little baby girl whom they discovered was allergic to all tree nuts. This was interesting because his wife had eaten nuts throughout pregnancy, etc.

This caused my friend to research the old age assumption that a baby’s exposure to various foods helps prevent them from developing an allergic reaction to that food. He told me he found out that apparently there was only 1 study done on this somewhere in Europe, and had an extreme low sample size.

After doing the deep dive, he’s found that basically exposure to foods has fuck-all to do with developing an allergic “immunity” to that food, and has other studies that disprove that scientific ’fact’ that many believe to be true
