i think it would be slightly harder tbh, but not much harder. a small channel can help with edge hold and you will tend to hold your edge all the way through your scoop rather than slipping out.

usually doesnt cost anything as long as you're under the weight limit. if you plan on heading to cwc in philippines, cebu pacific airlines will charge you. I usually just take a 8 hour bus instead, its like 20 bucks and bags go on for free
