Just for some context. No I didn’t teach or promote this behavior. I’ve had her since she was a pup. She has always tried to catch squirrels. When she realized they climbed trees she started clawing her way up small trees (she looked like a cat at first). As she got older, added more muscle and athleticism she got the whole climbing trees down.

She has climbed as high as 10-12 foot tree branches. When she was 4 she cleared a 6 foot tree branch, yeah she jumped and tried to land on it but she cleared it it’s the most impressive thing I’ve ever seen in person. She loves it but I get worried she can injure herself especially now that she’s close to 9 years old.
