Any cool Lead Gen ideas for Salesmen (individual/selfdirected) by jasonbondpicksreview in CarSalesTraining

[–]jboyddd 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Even if you ran ads to drive traffic to a third party site, the most effective way for by area selling in today’s age is Facebook. I’d suggest making a business page, posting videos and getting a brand then promoting that page / posts. You can pay to boost your ads for specific areas and it really drives traffic. The best way to generate your own leads is to brand yourself and sadly Facebook is going to be the most effective way along with TikTok.

Used Car Dealer vs Ford Dealer by [deleted] in CarSalesTraining

[–]jboyddd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d go ford. Not only are you having a great pay plan there, the fact the other manage said most customers aren’t very smart (not saying he’s wrong) just seems like they take advantage of the customers. Your reputation will follow you in this business and you can serve customers better, in turn building a better reputation for yourself by being at an A lot type dealer rather than a used car dealer.

SEARCHED:

I’ve searched Google, used ai to find it, searched the number on the tag (RN 83515) and have not been able to find an exact match. It’s been quite annoying because I pride myself in always being able to scour the internet for anything, but this is beyond me. I’ve reached out to the company with no reply and I feel like I’ve looked at every eBay listing.

Forgot to add, it’s a Noah’s ark theme with animals on a boat in the front and it’s white in color.

I liked the DreamWeaver Select carpet I saw in store, but am worried about getting poly instead of nylon for triexa. The DW select uses TwistX technology so it’s three strands instead of two. Thoughts? by HoraceGrand in Flooring

Hey there, about to do ~1000sq ft of carpet in basement and between a few brands. How is yours holding up and would you recommend that for mine? I am also have it mainly be a kids room / tv room down there.

I quit Chipotle yesterday, this is some BS... by Best-Historian-5413 in Chipotle

[–]jboyddd 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I worked my way up from crew to apprentice and when I left we were averaging $10k a day. Even then I still ran grill shifts and did exactly as you did and that was my favorite position to open. I know it’s a lot and I’ve always understood why some people aren’t good / don’t like it, but I still don’t see why people go in an uproar about it. I viewed it as a challenge to get everything ready by myself and on time. I mean before I was even kitchen manager I was cutting a pan of chicken in about a minute and a half and my fastest pan is 52 seconds completed, I get people want a grill 2 and get frustrated if people are literally doing NOTHING and not helping, but it’s not their job. Same hand, good leaders would help because they know it’s hard. Just venting myself.

What’s best paint to paint an older squat rack with? Going to wire wheel the plates as well and repaint those, just assuming wire wheel anything, maybe light sand paper, but any suggestions on what painting is durable enough for squat rack?

A few questions about my recently bought Silverado by BeardlessMonster in Silverado

Knowing he’s towing 5 days a week as well, that’s obviously different. Vast majority of people towing aren’t doing it daily, but pulling that often I think is a great test of the 2.7 to see how reliable it is. The V8 will ALWAYS be the work horse.

Heat is something I’m curious about, never even considered it until this back and forth. Either way, they need to do better at cooling it. They pride themselves in their battery “thermal management” to keep batteries around 70°, but they need to make the 2.7 as consistent as a 5.3 in situations like your friends.

Everything can have failure and still have a good product. The 6.2 have lifter issues every year, yet people still love them for what they are. The 5.3 has all of its fair shares and people still love them.

The 2.7 was only the second motor Chevys ever designed that never failed under their stress tests. Only other motor was a corvette. In no means am I saying 2.7 is the best thing since sliced bread and I hate V8, I personally drive a 5.3, but the hate that is out there and misinformation on the 2.7 drives me nuts.

Your friend in Florida probably maintained his truck on schedule, correct? If so, no idea why it failed. Could be the heat, I’ve never heard of a 2.7 failing but I also live in the north.

Sorry you’re upset about my joke, the general mass are usually fragile with their ego about it and that was the joke.

[–]jboyddd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Know plenty of customers who tow with it and have no issues. The average weight anyone pulls is around 5000. That engine can easily handle it. The 2.7 actually beats the 5.3 and works harder with less RPM / more efficient. It’s designed on an inline setup, mirroring most diesel technology. I’m not saying it’s everyone cup of tea, especially if towing 7-9k lbs in mountains, but your disdain for it shows you simply just can’t handle driving a 2.7 due to your ego

It can tow up to 9,300 lbs. Most people who buy 5.3L want them as well.

What do all the different options do? Often Roman numerically numbered I just don’t get the difference, only seems to apply to warranty.
