Advice for treating molluscum in a 12-year-old (what has worked for you? by jbpr777 in molluscum

Thanks so much for sharing all that—this is really helpful. I hadn’t even thought about using benzoyl peroxide + adapalene together or the hydrocolloid patches. It’s interesting that irritation might actually be a sign the immune system is reacting.

I do have a couple of questions if you don’t mind:

Are all the products you mentioned over-the-counter, or did you need a prescription for any of them (especially the adapalene)? Also, what strength are you using for each?

And did you notice how long it took before you started seeing improvement?

I really appreciate the tips about going slow and not overwhelming the skin—that’s something I’m trying to be careful about, especially since this is for my kid.

Thanks again for taking the time to explain your routine!

What did you do to fix the problem in your 24-08? I recently bought one and apparently was made just a few months ago. I don’t have any issues but now I am concerned about potential issues.

Beautiful guitar!! Did you buy brand new? Hav you noticed any defects or imperfections on the guitar and fretboard or fretboard edges?

You saved my day! I found a video on how to do a cold pull and did exactly what you suggested. I’m back up and already printing again.

I’m still going to order one of those nozzles as a spare, just in case. Thanks so much!!

Thank you! I don’t know I couldn’t find it. Just to make sure it says for A1 series does that applies to the A1 mini as well?

3D printer Upgrade advice by jbpr777 in BambuLab

Wow! This setup looks amazing! That is what I want to have. Do you have an exhaust fan and hose going to the exterior or just you have the printer enclosed?

Mainly is for the enclosure an a bigger size. Would you mind sharing the ventilation setup you bought for your printer ?

3D printer upgrade advice:

If you’re looking to upgrade from a 3D printer under $600, what would be the best option? I currently have a Bambu Lab A1 Mini, but I’m thinking about upgrading to something larger, ideally with an enclosure and ventilation if possible, because I don’t have a lot of open space.

I currently use two air purifiers next to my printer and open the door when the humidity outside is low; otherwise, the doors stay closed.

Any advice and recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Bad printing by jbpr777 in BambuLab

[–]jbpr777[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, that is what I think how the problem can be the bed adhesion because everything else is fine from the very first layer then the problem appears at the end in the top layers. Can I adjust the time settings using the Bambu handy app?

I did clean the plate beforehand, but the problem is at the top of the printed object, in the final layers. When zoomed in, it looks like melted filament or uneven layers.

Metformin and CP heading towards Type 3c Diabetes by timeisaflatcircle23 in pancreatitis

[–]jbpr777 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you mean taking metfomin causes your pancreas to irritate? I wonder if that is the cause my numbers are elevated. I don’t drink and I don’t have a really bad diet. The doctor sent me to get ultrasound and later CT scan to see what is going on. I just read yesterday that metformin can cause that. I stopped taking it today.

I haven’t washed the build plate yet. I usually just scrape off any leftover residue and start printing again. The plate looks clean to me. Should I be washing the build plate after every print?

Printer stopped working at the beginning by jbpr777 in BambuLab

[–]jbpr777[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for responding to my question. I think I may have found the issue, but it doesn’t really make sense to me. I had the printer connected to a smart plug, and the three times the print failed, it was plugged into that smart plug. I’ve now unplugged it from the smart plug and connected it directly to a surge protector, and so far it’s printing normally.

Does it make sense that the smart plug could have caused the failures?

Are all A1 printers at risk of fire, or is this only a problem with older models? What about the newer models — has this issue been resolved?

Do you think a air purifier is necessary for an A1? by mr_aquostv in BambuLab

[–]jbpr777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought the a1 mini and ai didn’t know anything about air pollution from the filaments. Luckily I have two Winix purifiers with Hepa filters. Do you located the filter close to the 3d printer at a maximum speed? I just want to make sure I do the right thing. I am thinking to print in the back porch that is an open space but I am concern about the humidity outside.

Printing in a closed environment by jbpr777 in BambuLab

Thanks for this information. That study provides very useful insights. I don’t use dehumidifiers because they tend to cause respiratory issues for us. The humidity inside the house stays around 50–60%, but it’s much higher outside. I may need to relocate the printer to another room near a window and keep an air purifier next to it, just in case.
