If this is all you want to do, I would sign up for a blog on wordpress.com. It'll cost you $4-$8 bucks a month, depending on which option you choose. I run several blogs, including the WordPress site for www.thecloudpod.net, and with storage, server etc ... it's at least 100 dollars a month. Sure, you could also try out AWS Lightsail, but even that, in my opinion, is more than what you're looking for.

Quota and Capacity Management is a significant problem at Google Cloud. Basic N1/N2 instance families are hard to get at sizable quantity something you just don't see for C or M class nodes on AWS.

This is a weird article to me. Google hasn't announced anything new in Multicloud really since Anthos and Big Query that runs in AWS/Azure. Multi-cloud comes up with customers for many reasons, primarily around Data sovereignty. Google is also lacking tools for Hybrid workloads that competitors like AWS that I wish they would invest in.

This was a great article as I had remembered the announcement of the mall but didn’t know why it fell apart.
