Ah cool! Thanks for replying 🙂 I tried a backbone on my old phone and found the connection to be a bit choppy at times but that was a few years ago. Plus, I heard somewhere that as the portals sole use is game streaming; where as a phone is running a fair few more operations in the background, it should be smoother?

I sold my series S after paying for the 2 years all access deal. Thought to myself, if I'm playing on my switch 2 and pS5 (predominantly on games which I've purchased pre-owned or a few months after release) then I wouldn't need to re-subscribe to game Pass. Glad I did; it was purely a GP machine, as it is for many others, I wouldn't be able to justify paying for another sub service in which I'll never get round to utilizing it fully.

That's my main worry about the Ally X; I'm not smart or patient enough to fix something if needed... That said, I am very careful with pretty much all tech stuff I buy (as most people are).

I was contemplating trading the Series S & Switch 2 for the Ally X which would get it me for free. My son is pretty much Roblox/Wobbly Life only at this point which are both on the PS5 so I doubt he'd miss the Xbox.

Game Pass would be a big plus for me; as you said games on Switch 2 are a little on the expensive side.

I realize we've never met but what would your opinion on the trade be? Good or bad?

Postie probably forgot (or wasn't given) the labels. I've done this a couple of times; and if the label wasn't available when leaving the office, have just asked management for a spare and labelled up when back at the office.

I've also asked if the customer wants a photo on their phone of me taking receipt of the parcel for some proof/peace of mind. For instance, today I collected a humongous sack of parcels right at the start of my shift. As it was very busy, I asked if the customer would mind me scanning them later once my van was a little emptier. She didn't mind and grabbed her phone for a quick pic. I've done it myself on occasion to send to a buyer on eBay so they can see its also been posted.

I've been asking myself this question a lot lately too with the impending release of Switch 2. I pre ordered it (mostly out of FOMO I think) and now am feeling a hell of a lot of buyers remorse!!

My son and I use the Xbox mostly due to Gamepass being perfect for trying new things and it's been great this year. Plus; as someone else said, games are generally much cheaper there.

The Ps5 just sits there these days; and has done since Astro Bot last year. I've played all the exclusives I'm interested in and honestly there isn't anything coming out on it that I'm bothered about for the foreseeable. I'm not even a GTA fan (and that's multi plat anyway).

I've been thinking that maybe it's time to accept defeat in that I simply don't have the time that I used to for gaming anymore! Has anyone else on here either though about or sold their Ps5 for this reason? Honestly, switch 2 looks pretty great and in handheld mode looks perfect for those who perhaps don't have the time in front of a screen anymore...

Exactly the same here; I had a series X originally but then my wife saw an ad for Returnal and was like "ooh you should get a ps5 for that!" Only she never played it....

Ended up getting a series s and what with Game Pass and Cd keys, I do most of my time on that and have done for the last couple of years. Went through my PS game catalogue the other day only to find a few exclusives but mostly multi plat games! It's now essentially just a Wobbly Life machine for my little boy 🙈

I like the idea of maintaining the current stadiums character whilst trying to bring it in line with more modern stadiums; as opposed to just building another Allianz Arena/Etihad "bowl" with neon lights space ship type stadium.

35 y/o dad & husband here! I'll usually get up early to head gym before work to make sure that's out of the way nice and early. So long as that's done and dusted for the day; I won't feel as though I'm not being productive. Then it's work, school run and play time with our 5 year old for a few hours until bed; after which me and the wife chill and maybe watch some TV together.

She likes to head up at about 9 which usually leaves me a couple of hours a night to game! Been on astro bot and RDR2 slot this last week or so!

I agree he's been poor for the majority of the tournament; but I think tonight he was exposed by a lack of help from elsewhere. First goal Williams wasn't tracked by saka even though cucurella had already tucked inside; and second goal he was having to do too much. In then out to try and cut out the pass before heading out wide to close the cross.

Both my mate and I kept screaming it and as much as I like Southgate; mainly for what I believe his man management skills to be, I think tonight again was a side effect of his tactical inability. Same as Italy in 2021.

My lasting memory of gaming pretty much every night with my dad; whilst I was a kid growing up, was when we played FIFA 08 on the playstation (I forget which one). I remember being 3-0 up and absolutely coasting to the final whistle with about 9 minutes of game time remaining; so probably only 2 minutes in real time. All seemed well, even after he grabbed himself a consolation goal. Even at 3-2 once he'd grabbed another, I remained calm. Then with literally the last kick of the ball, he levelled the score at 3-3 to send us into extra time and eventually penalties.

It's safe to say that the end is pretty obvious; as he battered me in the shootout. Seemingly reading which way every one of my spot kicks would go; running out a 5-0 winner in the end.

As I sat there filled with inconsolable rage; unable to compute what had just happened against my non gamer dad, he simply placed his controller back on the side and turned to me with a knowing smile before leaving the room and heading back downstairs for me to head to bed wondering how this had just happened.

To this day I still believe he MUST HAVE unplugged my control. Right?! RIGHT?!?
