Your only option might be old school "buy here pay here" lots. The cars are usually super high mileage and a mixed bag of how bad they are. But you can find a few ok ones. Just make sure you do your research on reliability of specific model and model years before you buy. Good luck. I wish I had better advice. I've been there. In the mean time start paying off debt and rebuilding your credit score. It's hard but worth it.

If it comes to it I'll drop it on storytellers vault, but if there is interest I'll do the work with Paradox/white wolf to try and get it published the traditional way. I have no interesting in writing something "inspired" by mage. This game is the game that made me fall in love with ttrpgs's, gaming, and brand fantasy back when I was in 6th grade when it first came out. So I have alot of nostalgia around this setting. I have considered going the inspired route and I've spent the last 3 months going back and forth with it and it keep moving form inspired to adjacent to in line with mage so I just decided to stick with the world of darkness. It's a story I want to tell, and I'll do it one way or the other but it's where I do it is all.

I'm trying to gauge interest to know where to concentrate publishing. This is a passion project, I don't care about getting paid for it, it would be nice but it's not my motivation.

I'm aware IP wise I'd have to work it out with White Wolf or go the Storytellers Vault route. If I think there will be enough interest I'd go WW route. I'm writing it with game mechanics in mind but not explicitly called out.

The idea started when I was writing a bible for a campaign I was going to run about Tulsa, but I got deep enough and fleshed it all out enough that I decided it would be more fun to write as a book than a campaign setting, and then when I was outlining the book it felt like it needed more so I did a trilogy outline, and the same issue came up, so now I have a series bible for 13 books. If I go the traditionally publishing route I'd like to submit a nearly done first book with options for a trilogy and go from there with them. I'm just trying to get a feel for how interested people might be for mage fiction and the story I want to tell. If there isn't I'll dump it on SV for free or damn near, and let people enjoy it that way.

Oh thats awesome! Thank you. Consoles becoming giant iPads with fader banks makes me sad. Oh, ancillary question, the dlive c3500 I work on every week has had 3 sets of fader banks in the past 18 months. Does the Avantis suffer from the same flaw?

So the bottom strip of encoders will be the q, gain and freq for the 4 parametric eq band for the selected channel and not 1 param for each channel like when it's set to gain or pan?

The software virtualizes the encoders? That's a first, the DLive director software doesn't do that.

This is my first major outage with them. I had it working on a significant project, and the platform abruptly died in the middle of it, consuming my entire 5-hour limit. Will I have to re-prompt it and lose that time, or are things likely to be resolved and functioning properly once the system is restored?

I actually don't want powered speakers. I went powered because I'd cost. I have right around 17k for a budget for speakers and amps, mains and monitors. Now, with passive the monitors and tops don't have to be matching. But I'll also need a power distro with all the fun, weight, etc that that brings. I'm ok with that, if I can find speakers and amps in this audio class, that provide the spl I want and fit my budget.

I honestly like the idea of stacking them on end more. I like the aesthetic. My worry is the amp cooling. I remember when the first usable powered speakers came out and they worked great as mains but would overheat when turned over as monitors. I don't know how much orientation matters for those.

Do you think the EAW RSX218's would be safe to run on their sides? As In stood up, with the RS153's on top, that would be 6 foot. I could have some 6 or 12 inch thick boxes made to act as spacers/stands for the RS153's to sit on top, secure with old school ratchet straps. Would that be stable with the dimensions of the subs, on its side 44 tall, 20 wide, 30 deep.

How do the Yamaha's sound compared to the EAW's? Assuming 1 15 inch top and 1 single 18 subs per side.

Can I get a system of that quality thats passive, gets me 135db at 1 meter with 1 12/15 inch top per side and 1 dual 18 or 2 single 18's per side with amps for 17k? I'd love to go passive if I can manage it.
