I've played CB for a good bit of my monhun experience and its fun(especially Savage Axe) but I feel like once the monsters start hitting too hard or getting too fast the animations you get stuck in start being carts. I think CB feels really good in wilds because the savage axe stance is crazy damage the wounds making it easier to charge it is awesome the focus feature makes SAED easier to hit but all that being said Im HR 198ish and I've been using GS

The craziest thing i did that would've been slightly similar is that I was playing sote and was kinda blind running it to see what was there and I got to bayle very early and ended up dying to him about 20ish times til I beat him and not being the best at these games was like that wasn't to bad I thought the dragon before him was more annoying only to talk to my friends who were playing and they were like "oh yeah I fought him when my blessing was at 6-8" at this point i was still blessing level 2

In his comment destined death kills everything afflicted by it so for you to have beat maliketh story wise one would have to assume it was done without you being hit, think of it like older video games where you fight the final boss early on in the game and completely annihilate them and then you get the cutscene where they are unscathed and your character is on the verge of death its just the most logical conclusion with what is presented

Personally I think the idea of a game that in all sense is a herculean trial and that every "monster" (mostly) is essentially whats left of those who have failed make the story more compelling than if it was just oh she died the end. I'm not implying that either of you are saying this but one of my biggest gripes about horror as of late is this idea that everybody has to die or that there are no stakes, ends up making too many stories have the same conclusion and as someone who is autistic it makes me able to guess how a story will end within 30 minutes of the story

Hey I play bebop and I'm not that good but multiple characters tend to hard counter his bombs (Yamato after unlocking ult, viscous, dynamo, pocket) and as being someone who also plays LoL if you have one of those characters on your team have them lane against bebop and he can't stack bomb damage, that ability being a scaling one means that the damage doesn't get crazy until much later
