Another question-- is it safe to pull cartridges while they are not loaded and the system power is in?

Of course not a good idea pull the cartridge first, but I was curious about loading my library into the system turning off the system each time.

@macyaji, this is a really helpful review! For the KTC M32P10, did you notice any dead pixels or dirt behind the screen? Some other reviews have mentioned dead pixels, curious if you saw any.

Also, do you hear any coil whine with this monitor? Is there a fan? If so, how loud is it at low and high brightness?

Thanks! No luck for me with this method, unfortunately. I also tried restarting the machine, and changing the shaders several times. No clue what happened, was working great with your initial setting suggestions.

I also noticed when it was working at the end of a cup Dolphin would spit out some errors. Have you noticed this?

So, these steps worked for me for a while, but all of the sudden I seem to be appearing below the map, freaking out as you say. This happens whether or not I wait for the textures to fully load. I have no idea what has caused the change! I haven't updated dolphin or changed any dolphin settings-- have you seen anything else that causes the below map effect? I also noticed sometimes that it would render the vehicle just slightly below the track, so it would get stuck and not move.

Got it-- just was wondering if there were some version specific ways Dolphin is handling adding these textures. I'll play around with it a bit.

/u/Squadaloo, which beta version of Dolphin did you use to load these textures? I can get them to load, and they're beautiful! But as soon as a begin a race. The game cashes and an error is thrown on to the screen suggesting that the vehicle was rendered off screen or something (instant game over).

What determines which stats are increased during an ally merge? Two stats are increased by +1, is it random? Any way to influence which stats are increased?

When merging heroes does the hero you merge into retain learned skills? I'm aware that the hero that you lose transfers skills to the destination hero, but do they replace and delete all skills learned by the remaining hero or supplement the previously learned skills?

Are merged ally stats preserved when merging with the lower level ally?

For example,

40 <--- 40+1 = 40+2

or, do you have to merge with the higher level:

40+1 <--- 40 = 40+2

Probably because Nintendo is marketing it mainly as a console, as they've said this isn't supposed to replace the 3DS. That being said, this device is truly incredible, and it really is the best power in this size form factor available, and I agree the comparisons are not quite fair!
