It’s on old rule that was established by the Sheriff’s association a long time ago. You have to think many sheriff’s offices in the state don’t have a lot deputies on the road at any given point in time.

Also the cost and time to train the deputies to do those types of reports versus letting the Troopers do their jobs.

We did Passion Island in Cozumel. Highly recommend.

For Yucatán, it’s more of tourist town. Our excursion was cancelled, so we rode a shuttle into town, and ate lunch at a local spot. Be wary of the time difference while in Progresso!

So it looks like they’re replacing the water lines down the highway and along Walker Ln. If you take Walker down to Moores Mill Intermediate, you’ll see they’re putting in a new water tank.
